- Switch off the device after each use.

- Before use, make sure that the cutting attach- ment is correctly seated.
- Never use the device on any part of the body other than the nose or ear hair.
- Never touch the inner blades because they are very sharp. There is a risk of injury!

- Do not disassemble batteries!
- Remove discharged batteries from the device immediately! Increased risk of leakage!
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes! If battery acid comes in contact with any of this parts, rinse the affected area with copious amounts of fresh water and seek medical attention immediately!
- If a battery has been swallowed seek medical attention immediately!
- Always keep the battery compartment well closed!
- Remove the batteries from the device if it is not going to be used for an extended period!
- Keep batteries out of children’s reach!
- Do not attempt to recharge these batteries! There is a danger of explosion!

WARNING Please ensure that the polythene packing is kept away from the reach of children! Risk of suffocation! Please check rst of all that the device is complete and is not damaged in any way. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your supplier or your service centre. The following parts are included:

- 1instruction manual The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any packaging material no longer required. If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your supplier without delay.
Scope of delivery and packaging The device is used to cut nose and ear hair. Never use the device on any part of the body other than the nose or ear hair. For other uses (eyebrows, neck, beard hairs or whiskers), the trimming attachment is intended.
Functions Insert/change battery Hold the device in one hand and slide the battery compartment cover
downwards and remove it. Insert a type AA battery, paying attention to correct polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover and push it upwards until it is rmly seated. You can now use the device. WARNING Danger of injury! Never insert the trimmer more than 0.5 cm into the nose or ear. 3 Operating9 3 Operating / 4 Miscellaneous

upwards to switch on the device
- Carefully run the tip of the trimmer
over the protruding hair from the nose or ear to remove it. Use of the trimmer attachment
- Twist the tip of the nose/ear hair trimmer
from left to right to release and take it off.
- Attach the trimmer attachment
- Set the cutting length (2, 4 or 6 mm) and trim the desired hair areas. Switch off the device by sliding the on/off switch
downwards. Clean the device as described in the “Cleaning and maintenance” section.
Cleaning and main- tenance
- Remove the battery before cleaning.
- Remove any attachment before cleaning.
- CAUTION: Do not try to disassemble the attachments yourself.
- Clean the attachments and the device yourself with the enclosed brush.
- The attachments can also be cleaned under running water.
- CAUTION: Never clean the device itself under running water!
- Clean the device with a soft cloth.
- Let the attachments air dry thoroughly before using them again.
- DO NOT use harsh cleaners, abrasives, or solutions.
- NEVER immerse the device in water.
- Switch off the device after use. Remove the battery to prevent dama- ge from leakage.
- Store the device, attachments and battery in a safe place out of the reach of children.10 4 Miscellaneous / 5 Warranty
Disposal This product must not be disposed of together with domestic waste. All users are obliged to hand in all electrical or electronic devices, re- gardless of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commercial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner. Please remove the batteries before disposing of the device / unit. Do not dispose of old batteries with your household waste, but at a battery col- lection station at a recycling site or in a shop. Consult your local authority or your supplier for information about disposal.

Warranty and repair terms Your statutory warranty rights are not restricted by our guarantee below. Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt and state what the defect is. The following warranty terms apply:

a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
