How to connect the Connect TS21 optical audio switch?

What audio formats are supported?

The Connect TS21 supports uncompressed PCM 2-channel, compressed Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. It does not convert signals, it simply switches the optical stream.

Can I use the switch without the power adapter?

No, the device requires an external 5V DC power supply via the included adapter to operate. Without it, the switch will not power on.

How do I select the active audio input?

Press the push button on the back of the unit to switch between the two optical inputs. The power LED remains on during operation.

Does the Connect TS21 work with coaxial digital audio cables?

No, the Connect TS21 is designed exclusively for optical Toslink connections. It does not have a coaxial input.
