How to set the time on the CLR2477 clock radio?

In standby mode, press and hold the TIME button (3) for 2 seconds, then use the HOUR (1) and MIN (2) buttons to set the hour and minutes. Press TIME again to confirm.

How to set an alarm on the Roadstar CLR2477?

In standby mode, press and hold the ALARM 1 button (5) or ALARM 2 button (4) for 2 seconds. Use the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the time, then press the same alarm button to confirm. In standby mode, a short press on these buttons allows selecting the alarm type: BUZZER, FM or OFF.

How to stop or snooze an alarm?

To temporarily stop the alarm, press the SNOOZE button (7): it will repeat after 9 minutes. To completely stop the alarm, press the AL OFF button (6); the alarm will sound again the next day.

How to use the radio and store stations?

Turn on the radio with POWER (6). Use the TUNING +/- buttons (1/2) to tune. To store a station, press and hold PRESET (3) until 'P' flashes, select a number with the tuning buttons, then confirm with PRESET. Auto memory of the first 20 stations is done in radio mode by pressing and holding POWER.

How to set the sleep timer?

When the radio is on, press SLEEP (7) repeatedly to choose a duration: 120, 90, 60, 45, 30, 15, 5 minutes or OFF. The radio will turn off automatically after the selected delay.

How to change the display brightness?

In radio mode, press and hold the SNOOZE button (7) to toggle between two brightness levels: bright or dim.

How to charge a USB device via the clock radio?

Connect your device (smartphone, MP3 player) to the USB port (8) on the back using a USB cable (not included). Charging occurs automatically (5V/1A max), but the device's content is not accessible via the clock radio.

What to do if the display flashes and the radio stops working?

This indicates a power interruption. The clock radio is equipped with a CR2032 backup battery (not included) that preserves clock and alarm settings. If the display flashes, check that the backup battery is installed and functional (replacement recommended every 9-12 months).
Once power is restored, the clock will display the correct time.

Where to install the backup battery and how to replace it?

The backup battery (CR2032) is located in the compartment under the device. Open the compartment, insert the battery with correct polarity, then close. Replace it every 9 to 12 months to avoid leakage.

How to clean and maintain the clock radio?

Unplug the device before cleaning. Use a clean, soft cloth lightly dampened with a non-abrasive detergent solution. Never use alcohol, benzene, or solvents. Avoid letting liquids enter the openings.

- Your new unit was manufactured and assembled under strict ROADSTAR quality control. Thank you for purchasing our product for your music enjoyment. Before operating the unit, please read this instruction manual carefully. Keep it also handy for further future references.

AC POWER: You can power your clock radio by plugging the AC power cord into a wall AC power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance matches your local voltage.

BATTERY BACK-UP POWER FAILURE PROTECTION

This radio has a battery back up circuit that will keep the correct time and alarm settings in the event of a temporary power interruption.

Install a 3V CR-2032 battery (not included), into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit.

Change the battery every 9 to 12 months for best result and avoid possible battery leakage.

If power is temporarily interrupted the display will blink and the radio will not play. However, the battery back-up circuit will continue to maintain the clock and alarm settings. When power is restored the clock will display the correct time and alarm settings, and no adjustment is necessary.

CLOCK SETTING

In stand-by mode:

1. Press 2 seconds the [TIME] button (3);
2. Press the [HOUR] (1) button to adjust the hour;
3. Press the [MIN] (2) button to adjust the minutes;
4. Press the [TIME] button (3) to complete the setting operation.

ALARM SETTING

In stand-by mode:

1. Press 2 seconds the [ALARM 1 or 2] (4/5) button;
2. Press the [HOUR] (1) button to adjust the hour;
3. Press the [MIN] (2) button to adjust the minutes;
4. Press the [ALARM 1 or 2] (4/5) button to confirm;

In Stand by mode, short press [AL.1] (5) or [AL.2] (4) to choose alarm mode: BUZ-ZER, FM RADIO or OFF.

Temporary stop alarm: press [SNOOZE] (7) button to repeat next alarm after 9 minutes. To stop alarm press [AL OFF] (6). Next alarm will be next day.

TO USE THE RADIO

1. Press the [POWER] button (6) to power ON the unit;
2. Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by pressing the [TUNING +/-] buttons (1/2). (If you hold tuning button it will scan until it finds the next station);
3. Adjust the volume with the [VOLUME +/-] (5/4);
4. To switch off the radio, press the [POWER] button (2).

Note: For a better reception reorient the antenna.

PRESETS

1. Tune the desired station as explained above;
2. Press and hold [PRESET] button (3) until "P" will flash;
3. Press the [TUNING +/-] buttons (1/2) to choose the number;
4. Press the [PRESET] button (3) to save the radio station.

RECALL A PRESET STATION:

Press the [PRESET] button (3) and then choose the number of the preset by pressing the [TUNING +/-] buttons (1/2).

AUTO PRESET: In Radio mode, long press [POWER] (6) button, radio will be memorize first 20 stations received.

SLEEP TIMER

The sleep timer switches the radio off automatically after an adjustable time. When the radio is ON:

1. Press [SLEEP] button (7) repeatedly to adjust the sleep shutdown time. You can choose between 120-90-60-45-30-15-05-OFF;
2. Sleep time will be confirmed if no button is pressed within 5 seconds.

CANCEL SLEEP TIMER

Press [SLEEP] button (1) repeatedly to select "OFF".

LED DIMMER

In Radio mode, long press [SNOOZE] (7) button to set LED lightness: light or dark.

USB CHARGING

To charge a USB device, using a USB cable (not included), connect a USB device (e.g. smartphone, mp3 player) via to the USB port (8) on the back of this product. The contents in the connected USB device cannot be accessed by this product.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not allow this clock radio to be exposed to rain or moisture.

This clock radio should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperature, moisture, vibration, or placed in a dusty environment.

Do not use abrasives, benzine, thinners, or other solvents to clean the surfaces of the clock radio. To clean it, wipe with a mild non-abrasive detergent solution on a clean soft cloth.

Never attempt to insert wires, pins, or other objects into the venlilation holes or ope-

nings on the clock radio.

Note: When setting the Clock or Alarm times remember that this clock radio has a 24 Hour clock mode.
