USER MANUAL CLR2477 ROADSTAR
- Your new unit was manufactured and assem- bled under strict ROADSTAR quality control. Thank you for purchasing our product for your music enjoyment. Before operating the unit, please read this instruction manual ca- refully. Keep it also handy for further future references.
POWER SOURCES AC POWER: You can power your clock radio by plugging the AC power cord into a wall AC power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance matches your lo- cal voltage.
BATTERY BACK-UP POWER FAILURE PROTECTION
This radio has a battery back up circuit that will keep the correct time and alarm set- tings in the event of a temporary power interruption. Install a 3V CR-2032 battery (not included), into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Change the battery every 9 to 12 months for best result and avoid possible battery leakage. If power is temporarily interrupted the display will blink and the radio will not play. However, the battery back-up circuit will continue to maintain the clock and alarm set- tings. When power is restored the clock will display the correct time and alarm set- tings, and no adjustment is necessary. CLOCK SETTING In stand-by mode:
1. Press 2 seconds the [TIME] button (3);
2. Press the [HOUR] (1) button to adjust the hour;
3. Press the [MIN] (2) button to adjust the minutes;
4. Press the [TIME] button (3) to complete the setting operation.
ALARM SETTING In stand-by mode:
1. Press 2 seconds the [ALARM 1 or 2] (4/5) button;
2. Press the [HOUR] (1) button to adjust the hour;
3. Press the [MIN] (2) button to adjust the minutes;
4. Press the [ALARM 1 or 2] (4/5) button to confirm;
In Stand by mode, short press [AL.1] (5) or [AL.2] (4) to choose alarm mode: BUZ- ZER, FM RADIO or OFF. Temporary stop alarm: press [SNOOZE] (7) button to repeat next alarm after 9 minu- tes.To stop alarm press [AL OFF] (6). Next alarm will be next day.2 English
1. Press the [POWER] button (6) to power ON the unit;
2. Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by pressing the [TUNING +/-] but-
tons (1/2). (If you hold tuning button it will scan until it finds the next station);
3. Adjust the volume with the [VOLUME +/-] (5/4);
1. Tune the desired station as explained above;
2. Press and hold [PRESET] button (3) until “P” will flash;
3. Press the [TUNING +/-] buttons (1/2) to choose the number;
4. Press the [PRESET] button (3) to save the radio station.
RECALL A PRESET STATION: Press the [PRESET] button (3) and then choose the number of the preset by pressing the [TUNING +/-] buttons (1/2). AUTO PRESET: In Radio mode, long press [POWER] (6) button, radio will be memo- rize first 20 stations received. SLEEP TIMER The sleep timer switches the radio off automatically after an adjustable time. When the radio is ON:
1. Press [SLEEP] button (7) repeatedly to adjust the sleep shutdown time. You can
choose between 120-90-60-45-30-15-05-OFF;
2. Sleep time will be confirmed if no button is pressed within 5 seconds.
Press [SLEEP] button (1) repeatedly to select “OFF”. LED DIMMER In Radio mode, long press [SNOOZE] (7) button to set LED lightness: light or dark. USB CHARGING To charge a USB device, using a USB cable (not included), connect a USB device (e.g.smartphone, mp3 player) via to the USB port (8) on the back of this product. The contents in the connected USB device cannot be accessed by this product.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not allow this clock radio to be exposed to rain or moisture. This clock radio should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low tempera- ture, moisture, vibration, or placed in a dusty environment. Do not use abrasives, benzine, thinners, or other solvents to clean the surfaces of the clock radio. To clean it, wipe with a mild non-abrasive defergent solution on a clean soft cloth. Never attempt to insert wires, pins, or other objects into the venlilation holes or ope-3 English nings on the clock radio.
