How to turn on the PA 1500?

Use the POWER ON/OFF switch located on the back (mark 1). The POWER LED (mark 28) lights up when the unit is powered on.

How to connect a microphone?

Insert the microphone plug into an XLR or 6.3 mm jack input (marks 16, 17 for microphone 1; 19, 20 for microphone 2). Adjust the corresponding volume with the MIC 1 VOL (mark 15) or MIC 2 VOL (mark 18) potentiometers.

How to pair a phone via Bluetooth?

Press MODE (mark 9 or 37) several times until Bluetooth is selected. On your phone, search for devices and select 'MAC AUDIO PA 1500'. If a password is requested, enter '0000'.

What to do if the LIMIT LED lights up?

The LIMIT LED (mark 29) indicates acoustic saturation. Reduce the Master volume (mark 25), treble (mark 26) or bass (mark 27) until the LED turns off.

How to adjust the wireless microphone volume?

Use the WIRELESS VOL potentiometer (mark 13) on the back of the unit to adjust the voice volume of the wireless microphone.

Can the unit be used on 115 V voltage?

Yes, the unit is equipped with a mains voltage selector (mark 2). By default set to 230 V for Europe, you can switch it to 115 V. Caution: do not plug into 230 V if set to 115 V, this would damage the amplifier.

How to install the speaker on the tripod?

Place the PA 1500 on its side, slide the tripod into the bottom hole until it stops, then tighten the coupling nut. Adjust the height and secure with the splint. Gently lift the assembly. The setup should be done by two people.

What to do in case of malfunction?

First check that all instructions in the manual are followed. If the problem persists, unplug the unit and entrust the repair to a specialist. Never open the unit yourself.

How to clean the unit?

Use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use chemical solvents or cleaning products that could damage the surface.

How to dispose of the unit at the end of its life?

In accordance with European directive 2012/19/EU, do not dispose of the unit with household waste. Take it to a local collection point for used electrical and electronic equipment. Batteries must be removed and disposed of separately.

Please read the following information carefully before starting to use the PA 1500.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Please read the instruction manual carefully before use and keep it in a safe place.
• This device is only intended for use with 230V AC/50Hz or 115V AC/60Hz.
• Only operate the device at an ambient/room temperature between 10^ and 40^ .
• Make sure there is sufficient ventilation for the device. There must be a minimum gap of 10cm between objects to the side, to the rear and above the device.
• The ventilation slots should not be covered by any items (e.g. curtains, newspaper, etc.) in order to ensure sufficient ventilation for the device. Please do not position any sources of heat, such as radiators, ovens, naked flames or other devices that generate heat in close proximity to the device.
• The device and the remote control should not be exposed to dripping or splash water or high levels of humidity.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
• No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be places on the unit.
• In the event of contact with moisture or liquids remove the mains adapter immediately.
• Only clean the device using a dry cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or chemical solvents when cleaning, as these could damage the surface of the device.
• Never open the device.
• The mains cable must always be suitable for operation and it should only ever be laid out in a manner that prevents it from being trodden on. It should not be pinched by objects either, as this can damage the cable. When using plugs and power strips it must be ensured that the cable is not kinked at the point where it emerges from the socket. Do not connect or remove the mains cable with damp hands.

• If moisture or water has entered the device or foreign objects have fallen into the device.

• If the device has fallen and the housing is damaged.
• If the device does not work properly, even though all of the information in the instruction manual has been observed.

9 MODE: You can cycle through the various sources in the following order by repeatedly pressing the MODE button: USB, SD card and Bluetooth. Search for new Bluetooth sources with your phone or tablet. You will find the MAC AUDIO PA 1500. Connect your device with the MAC AUDIO PA 1500. If you are asked for a password, use "0000".

MP3 playback:

Brief press: Jumps to previous/next track.

Press and hold: Decreases / increases the volume (VOL 0-31 max).

Bluetooth operation:

When the Bluetooth mode is used, the previous or next track can be selected

USB/SD operation:

Activates the repeat function: Folder / Repeat 1 track/ random playback / repeat all tracks.

13 WIRELESS VOL (Microphone volume): The volume that is used for making announcements can be adjusted via the microphone volume knob.

MOUNTING THE SPEAKER ON THE TRIPOD STAND

Important: For safety reasons, the installation of the PA 1500 should be carried out by 2 persons.

1. Put the PA 1500 on its side. Push the stand as far as it will go into the lower round opening.
2. Tighten the nut of the PA 1500 to lock the tripod tube.
3. Adjust the height of the tripod. Secure it with the help of the „Splint" against moving.
4. Slowly bring both the PA 1500 and the tripod into a standing position.
