Battery life varies depending on usage. In standby mode, it can last several days, but in active use (streaming, downloading), it is approximately 8 to 12 hours. You can optimize battery life via the Power Manager on the touchscreen.

How to install the SIM card in the router?

Open the rear compartment, insert the nano SIM card carefully following the indicated orientation. Do not force it and do not use metal tools. Close the cover.

Can I use the router without the battery, plugged into a power outlet?

Yes, you can use the router with the supplied AC adapter, even without the battery. For prolonged use on AC power, it is recommended to remove the battery to extend its lifespan.

How to change the WiFi name and password?

From the home screen, tap the WiFi icon, then WiFi Info. You can change the name (SSID) and password. Confirm by tapping Done.

How to connect my smartphone to the router via QR code?

On the home screen, tap the QR code icon. A QR code is displayed. Open your smartphone's camera and scan it. Your phone will automatically connect to the WiFi network.

What to do if my device does not connect to WiFi?

Check that WiFi is enabled. You can switch to Dual-Band (2.4 and 5 GHz) mode from the WiFi settings. Also make sure you enter the correct password.

How to access the router's advanced settings?

Connect to the router via WiFi, then open a web browser. Go to http://mywebui.net or http://192.168.1.1. Use the administrator username printed on the label under the battery.

Does the router support 5G?

Yes, the Nighthawk M6 MR6110 is a 5G mobile router compatible with 5G NR, LTE, 3G and 2G networks.

How to update the firmware?

Connect to the web admin portal (http://mywebui.net), go to Settings then Firmware Update. You can also check for updates on netgear.com/support.

What to do if the touchscreen is unresponsive?

Try restarting the router by holding the power button for 10 seconds. If the problem persists, perform a factory reset using the Reset button under the rear cover.

Install the SIM and battery

Do not use a tool, pen, or paperclip to insert or remove the nano SIM card. Doing so might cause damage to your mobile router that is not covered by the warranty.

1. Verify the SIM orientation as shown on the product label.
2. Gently insert the nano SIM card.

The nano SIM card must have an active data plan with your operator.

Use the battery or AC power

This mobile router can operate on battery when you're away from your home or the office. The Power Manager settings allow you to further optimize battery life.

This mobile router can also operate without a battery using the supplied AC adapter. For extended periods on AC power, we recommend removing the battery to extend the battery life.

Connect to the Internet

The mobile router LCD screen goes dark to save power. A quick press and release of the Power button wakes the screen.

1. Point your phone's camera to the QR code.

Your phone connects to the mobile router WiFi network.

On your laptop or other WiFi-capable device

1. Open your WiFi network manager.
2. Find your mobile router's WiFi network name (NTGR_XXXX) and connect.
3. Enter your mobile router's WiFi password.

Note: To reduce power consumption and extend the battery life, this mobile router by default has Ethernet disabled. You can go to Power Manager to change to custom profile settings.

1. On the home screen, tap the WiFi tile.

3. Tap WiFi Password, enter your changes, and tap Done.

If your device is not connecting to this mobile router, we suggest enabling Dual-Band (2.4 & 5 GHz) in WiFi Band settings.

Note: To reduce power consumption and extend the battery life, this mobile router is default set to the WiFi 5 GHz Only band.

1. To find the URL for the Web Admin Portal, on your mobile router, tap Settings > More > Device Information.

1. On a WiFi-capable device that is connected to your mobile router, type the URL in the browser bar.
