Frequently Asked Questions - Jet Pressing 2850W Di4

How to fill the water tank?
Remove the water tank by pushing the release latch upwards. Fill it under a tap up to the MAX level (do not exceed). Replace the tank by pushing it in until it clicks.
What to do if the iron does not heat up and does not produce steam?
Check that the appliance is plugged into a power outlet and that the circuit switch is in the on position. If the power indicator does not light up, contact technical support.
Why does water come out of the soleplate holes?
This may be due to condensation in the pipes (first use or prolonged non-use). Press the steam trigger away from the board until steam is produced. If the soleplate is not hot enough, reduce the steam flow.
How to remove white marks on the soleplate?
White marks indicate limescale buildup in the boiler. Perform a descaling procedure: turn off the appliance, remove the cleaning cap, place a container under the opening, then plug in and run steam for 2-3 minutes on Max setting.
How to clean the soleplate?
Regularly clean the ceramic soleplate with a non-metallic damp cleaning pad. Do not use abrasive products or detergents.
How to descale the boiler?
After complete cooling, turn off and unplug the appliance. Remove the cleaning screw with a flathead screwdriver, place a container under the opening, plug in, set steam to Max and press the steam button for 2-3 minutes. Turn off, let cool, then screw the cap back on.
How to use the vertical steam function?
To steam hanging garments, hold the iron in an upright position. Set the steam flow to Max and direct the steam onto the garment without touching it. Never direct steam at a person.
What water to use in the steam generator?
Use tap water. If the water is hard or semi-hard, mix it with distilled or demineralized water in a 2:1 ratio (hard) or 1:1 ratio (semi-hard). Never use 100% distilled, demineralized, rainwater, scented water, or water from other appliances.
What to do if steam is weak or absent?
Check the water level in the tank; fill if necessary. Ensure the steam flow control knob is not at the minimum. Increase the flow by turning the knob to the right.
How to adjust temperature and steam flow?
Turn the temperature control knob according to the fabric type (see guide table). For steam ironing, set the temperature to Max. Adjust the steam flow with the flow control knob: turn right to increase, left to decrease.
