What are the available power levels on the Adler AD 7742 heater?

The device offers three modes: cold air flow (position a), 750 W heating (position b), and 1500 W heating (position c).

How to set the desired temperature?

Turn the thermostat knob (dial) to the desired position between MIN and MAX. When the room temperature is comfortable, slowly turn the knob counterclockwise until the device turns off: the thermostat then automatically maintains that temperature.

What are the safety distances to observe?

Leave a space of at least 120 cm in front of the device and 50 cm on the other sides. Keep flammable materials (curtains, furniture, clothing) at least 1 m away from the air outlet.

What to do if the device suddenly turns off during use?

This may be due to overheating: the thermal switch cuts the power. Unplug the device, wait 5 to 10 minutes for it to cool down, then plug it back in. If the problem persists, contact a professional.

Children should not play with the device. 7. The operating fan heater needs to be under supervision and in sight all the time. If you are leaving the room with the fan heater, always turn the fan heater off. If the fan heater is not used, the power plug has to be removed from the power outlet.
8. Do not connect the fan heater to the automatic switching device, for example temperature controlling device or time switch.
9. Flammable materials, for example furniture, bedclothes, paper, clothes, curtains should be kept at least one meter from the fan heater.
10. Do not cover the device or put any objects on it while it is operating. Do not use the device to dry clothes.
11. The power cord should not be placed above the fan heater, and it should not touch or be placed near hot surfaces of the fan heater. Do not place the fan heater directly under the power outlet.
12. The heating surfaces can heat to a temperature of 60^ or higher. The fan heater should be in a place that children and animals do not have access to.
13. The device is not intended to be installed or used in vehicles.

USING THE DEVICE

Place the device on flat surface, leave safe area between the device and other objects from the front 120cm and from the other sides of the device 50cm. Plug in the device.

The heater has two levels of heating power and fan mode.

Position (0) - device is switched off

Position (a) - unheated air flow

Position (b) - 750W warm air flow

Position (c) - 1500W hot air flow

On both heating levels the temperature can be adjusted using thermostat dial (1).

First, turn the power switch (1) into desired position (a,b,c) .

Then, turn the thermostat dial (1) to the desired temperature position between MIN and MAX. When you feel the room temperature is comfortable, turn the thermostat dial (1) anti-clockwise slowly until the device switches off, but not more. The thermostat switch will keep the room temperature at the desired temperature automatically.

The device is protected against the overheating by the means of a thermal switch, which can power it off for a while. If this happens, unplug the device and wait 5-10 minutes to let the device cool down. After a while you can continue to use the device.

This device is also equipped with a safety tip-over switch which automatically turns the device off if the it leans or falls. The heater will resume back to normal when it is returned to the upright position.
