Read the following instructions for use and the safety information carefully.
Use the product only as described and for the specified applications. Keep these instructions for use in a safe place. Please hand over all documentation as well if you pass on the product to third parties.

Intended use
This item has been manufactured solely for private use and can be reused. The moor mud heat pad is perfect for heat and cold therapy and is recommended for use on people for the following indications.
Indications for heat application:
Lumbago, sore muscles, back pain, stomach pain, period pain, neck pain, tenseness, joint and neck stiffness, nocturnal calf cramps, rheumatic pain (please consult your physician or pharmacist on the various uses; do not use for rheumatoid inflammation!).
Indications for cold application
Bruises, sprains, pulled muscles, headaches, migraines, fever, toothache, insect bites, nose bleeds, haematoma, oedema, tennis elbow, inflammation of muscles and joints, reviving tired and heavy legs, rheumatic pain (please consult your physician or pharmacist on the various uses!).
This product is not suitable:
for people who have difficulty perceiving heat or cold
for incapacitated people and children under the age of 3
for people who are also on painrelieving medication
for people with temperature sensory disturbances
for people with circulatory problems
Do not use this product cold in the event of:
- Arterial circulatory disturbances and Raynaud Syndrome
- Acute kidney (pelvic) diseases
- Bladder infections
Do not use this product warm in the event of:
- Inflammation or elevated temperature
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure whether this product is suitable.

If there is visible damage, such as that caused by sharp or pointed objects, overheating or excessive impact (e.g. dropping the moor mud heat pad on the floor), the moor mud heat pad must not be used any longer. We shall not be liable for any consequential damage.
- The moor mud heat pad must not come into contact with hot metal while it is being heated in the oven.
- Heat the moor mud heat pad WITHOUT the protective cover; otherwise, there is a risk of fire!
- Do not cut the moor mud heat pad open.
Do not swallow the contents.
- A heated or cooled moor mud heat pad must never be laid directly on the skin. Always use the enclosed protective cover.
- Do not use the moor mud heat pad while sleeping.
- Please ensure that your skin is free of gel, fat, ointment, oil or similar materials to avoid allergic skin reactions.

Safety instructions Risk of injury!
- Handle with care after heating. The specified heating and cooling times must be strictly observed.
- Overheated moor mud heat pads can cause burns. Please remember that burns can occur at temperatures as low as 50^ if the moor mud heat pad is applied for a longer period. Always use the enclosed protective cover.
- Temperature fluctuations in certain parts of the product may cause burns; therefore, please knead the moor mud heat pad and distribute the heat evenly before use.
- This is not a toy. For adult use.
- Please observe the moor mud heat pad while it is heating. If the product swells, this is a sign that you have exceeded the heating temperature. Turn off the
Hot use
Heating in the microwave:
Heat the moor mud heat pad in the microwave at max. 600 watts for 2 - 3 minutes. Knead it well before use. Test it carefully with the back of your hand to see whether it has reached a comfortable temperature in all places (40 - 43^) . If the product is too cool, heat it in 10-second steps until it reaches the perfect temperature. Place the moor mud heat pad in the enclosed protective cover before use.
Heating in the oven:
Heat the moor mud heat pad on a porcelain plate on the middle shelf in a cold oven at max. 120^ for 10 minutes. Knead it well before use. Test it carefully with the back of your hand to see whether it has reached a comfortable temperature (40 - 43^) . If the
product is too cool, warm it in 1-minute steps until it reaches the perfect temperature. Place the moor mud heat pad in the enclosed protective cover before use.
Important: If your microwave or oven does not heat evenly, please adjust the heating time accordingly.
Cold use
Pre-cooling in the fridge:
If you wish to use the moor mud heat pad cold, put it in the fridge (at a temperature of approx. 5^ ) for as long as required.
Pre-cooling in the freezer:
Put the moor mud heat pad in the freezer for max. 1 hour (max. -18°C).
Please note: The moor mud head pad should not be applied for more than 10 minutes when it is used for cold therapy.
Storage and care


The moor mud heat pad can be reused many times and is durable, depending on how often it is used and how well it is maintained and stored. We recommend that you store the moor mud heat pad in the fridge or in a dark, dry, clean place together with the protective cover and the instructions for use.
Clean the moor mud heat pad with a damp cloth after use and leave it to dry.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or solvents. Clean the protective cover as required in accordance with the care label:

Disposal instructions
Dispose of the item and the packaging materials in accordance with the current local guidelines. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable for children. Keep the packaging material away from children.

Dear Customer, You shall receive a 3-year warranty on this product from the date of purchase. If the product is defective, you shall have statutory rights against the seller of the product. These statutory rights shall not be limited by our warranty detailed below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period shall begin on the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place. This documentation is required as proof of purchase. If a material or production defect occurs within three years of the purchase date of this product, we will replace the product - at our discretion - for you free of charge. This warranty requires that the defective product and the purchase receipt (sales receipt) are submitted, along with a short explanation of where the defect is and where it happened within the three-year period. If the defect is covered by our warranty, you shall receive a new product back. The warranty period shall not begin anew once we have replaced the product.
Warranty time and statutory claims for defects
The warranty time shall not be extended with the warranty. This shall also apply for replaced and repaired parts. Any existing damage and defects at the time of purchase must be immediately reported after unpacking the product.
Scope of the warranty
The product has been carefully manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and has undergone stringent checks before delivery. The warranty shall not apply for material or manufacturing defects. This warranty shall not extend to product parts which are exposed to normal wear and tear and are thus deemed to be reusable parts. The warranty shall lapse if the product is damaged, used inappropriately or not serviced properly. All the instructions listed in the instructions for use must be observed exactly for appropriate use of the product. Uses and actions which you are advised or warned against in the instructions for use must be expressly avoided.
The product is only intended for private and not for commercial use.
The warranty shall lapse in the event of inappropriate and improper use, use of force and servicing which is not rendered by our authorised service centre.
Warranty claim process
Please follow the instructions below to guarantee quick processing of your concern:
- Please retain the sales receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) for any enquiries and as proof of purchase.
- You can find the item number in the instructions for use or in the sales box.
- If any functional errors or other defects occur, please contact the service office mentioned below first by phone or by e-mail.
- After we have recorded the complaint, you will receive a parcel stamp – if required – and you can then forward the product together with the purchase receipt (sales receipt) and information on the defect and when it occurred postage free to the service address provided.
Please note that only recorded products shall be accepted by the service centre.
Carriage-free package deliveries which occur without prior establishment of contact and recording shall not be accepted and shall be returned at the sender's expense.
