5.2 Notes on styling and temperature selection

DANGER! Risk of injury through burning!
-
Do not touch the hot round brush 2. Only touch the device by the handle 8 and the insulated tip 1.
Make sure that one section of hair is not wrapped around the hot round brush 2 for too long. The hair can be damaged. -
The thinner the parted strand of hair, the faster and more intense the heat exposure.
- Note that very fine and damaged hair reacts particularly quickly and sensitively to the effects of heat. Hair is stressed, for example, by dyeing, bleaching, perming or permanent straightening.
The more sensitive hair is,
- the thicker the strand of hair should be
- the lower the temperature should be and
- the shorter the time of exposure to heat should be.
The shaping of hair is even stronger,
- the thinner the parted strand of hair
- the higher the temperature
- the longer you apply the heat.
5.3 Styling
Preparation
- The hair should be dry or slightly damp. It must not be dripping wet.
- Only use styling products that are intended for use with heat, for example heat protection products.
- Comb or brush the hair thoroughly. Ensure that there are no knots in the hair.
Straightening
- Part a strand of hair to the desired thickness.
- Figure B: hold the strand of hair by the tip and place the strand over the round brush 2.
- Glide the round brush 2 slowly and evenly from the hairline to the tips of the hair.
- Repeat these steps strand by strand.
- For better durability, allow your hair to cool briefly before you finish styling.
Waves
- Part a strand of hair to the desired thickness.
- Figure C: roll up the strand of hair from the tips over the round brush 2.
- Hold this position for approx. 10 seconds.
NOTE: this time varies depending on the length and structure of the hair and the temperature setting.
- Figure A: press and hold the release button 9 to release the round brush 2.
- Slowly roll out the round brush 2 towards the ends of the hair.
- Repeat these steps strand by strand.
- For better durability, allow your hair to cool briefly before you finish styling.
5.4 Switching off automatically
The device is secured against accidental continuous operation by automatic switchoff.
After 30 minutes of use at temperature setting 1 or 2, the device switches itself off. After 25 minutes, flashing LEDs 4/5 will remind you of the automatic switch-off.
To use the device again, set the on/off switch and temperature control 3 once to 0 and then to one of the two temperature settings.
