Operation and Safety Instructions
Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your new device. You have opted for a high quality product. The oper- ating instructions are part of this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal. Familiarise yourself with all operating and safety in- structions before you use the product. Use the product only as described and only for the specified areas of use. When passing on the product, please do not for- get to hand over all the necessary documents to the new user.
Intended use This electric towel warmer is designed to heat and dry towels and garments with- out a clothes hanger - for indoor use only. Other uses or modifications to the product shall con- stitute improper use and may result in risks such as death, personal injury and damage. The manufac- turer accepts no liability for any damages resulting from improper use. This product is not intended for commercial use.

Specific safety instructions for mounted towel dryers To avoid putting very young children at risk, it is rec- ommended to install this appliance in such a way that the lowest heat- ed bar is at least 600 mm above ground level. “The lowest heated bar” is to be understood as “the top of the low- est bar that children can grab”. The towel dryer must also be in- stalled in a way that prevents an- yone in the bath or shower from being able to touch the switch.
Supplementary safety instructions Do not use the device if the power cord or plug is damaged. Before you continue to use the device, en- sure that a new mains connection cable is installed by an authorised specialist. Do not open the device housing un- der any circumstances. Safety instructions for house- hold appliances This device may be used by chil- dren 8 years of age and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised or in- structed with regard to the safe use of the device and have fully understood the hazards associated with its use. It is important to ensure that the specifications match to avoid causing any damage to the device. Do not use extension cords or a power strip. To avoid possible risks to children, the unit must be installed with the underside at least 60cm above ground level. Install the electric towel warmer so that the on/off switch cannot be reached by a person using the bathtub or shower. Inspect the device for any visible damage before use. Do not oper- ate a device that has been dam- aged or fallen. If the device's power cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer ser- vice or a similarly qualified person to prevent any possible hazards. This device is not equipped with a unit for controlling the room temperature. The heater must not be used in small rooms inhabited by persons who cannot leave the room independently, unless con- tinuous monitoring is guaranteed.

Protect the device from moisture and liquid penetration. Only disconnect the power cord from the socket at the mains plug, not with the cable. Do not operate the device in the vicinity of naked flames. Do not install the device directly un- der or above a wall power outlet. In case of any malfunctions or thunderstorms, remove the plug from the socket. Never use the device near a bath- tub, shower or swimming pool.
Only use the device with the power cord fully unrolled. Never wrap the power cord around the device. Take care to ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Route the cable so that it is not possible to trip over it.GB/IE/NI 19
Installation Notice: The electric towel warmer can be operated both as a freestanding device and as a wall-mounted device.
Installing the aluminium stands Attach the decorative caps
to the corre- sponding openings on the top of the device. (See fig.A) Attach the surface protectors

Now assemble the aluminium stands
pro- vided to attach the aluminium stands. (See fig.B)
INJURY AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY! Read your drill's operating and safety instructions carefully. RISK OF FATAL INJURY! Take care to avoid hitting electricity, gas or water pipes when drilling into the wall. If necessary, check with a cable detector before drilling into a wall. Place the wall brackets
on the product in your desired position. Figure C shows an example of how to position the wall brackets. Now measure the distance between the holes found on the four wall brackets
. (See Fig. D) These are the measurements for distances be- tween the holes to be drilled. Alternatively, you can place the electric towel warmer in the desired position on the wall and mark the locations of the holes to be drilled directly on the wall through the holes in the wall brackets
. (See Fig. E) Please note the dimensions of the eight en- closed screws
before drilling. Drill the holes (Ø 6mm, 28mm length) in the wall where you would like to mount the electric towel warmer. After the drill holes have been cleaned of any dirt, insert the dowels
into the drill holes.
Please take care to mount the wall brackets
as shown in the illustration (See Fig. F) Now secure the lower two wall brackets
with the supplied M4 x 30 mm Phillips screws
for attaching the wall brackets
Now place the electric towel rail in the newly attached wall brackets
the product and screw them to the wall as well. Please take care to mount the wall brackets
as shown in the illustration. (See Fig. H) Notice: Ensure that the M4 x 30 mm Phillips screws
for attaching the wall brackets are tightened and that the electric towel rail cannot fall down. This could lead to property damage and/or personal injury.
Before start-up Before the first start-up, check that the mains volt- age corresponds to the voltage indicated on the device. Please take care that the mains cable does not become a tripping hazard. Always route the power cable away from the rear of the unit.

Maintenance and cleaning
CAUTION! DANGER OF ELEC-
TRIC SHOCK! Before cleaning, un- plug the device from the wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely. The device should only be cleaned externally - using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use any liquids or cleaning agents under any circum- stances as they may damage the device.

Scope of the warranty This appliance has been manufactured in accord- ance with strict quality guidelines and inspected me- ticulously prior to delivery. The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass. The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or improperly main- tained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are dis- couraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be avoided. This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper han- dling, use of force and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.
