DEVICE PROPERTIES
General
- Multi-mode power capability for simultaneous connection of subwoofer and satellite speakers
- Adjustable subwoofer crossover frequency (30-250 Hz)
• High-current output device - Adjustable RCA input level
- Basic input insulation
• Line noise suppression - Noise reduction
- Switch-on delay
- Speaker short-circuit protection
• Gold RCA connectors and inputs - ATC unit fuse protection
Energy supply
- Ultra-stable PWM (pulse width modulated signal)
• Energy supply (11-16 V)
• Thermal overheating protection - Remote activation
- As this is a high-current unit, the connection of the power cable is very important.
- Connect the red cable to the (+) terminal of your battery using the cable with the fuse holder.
- Connect the black cable firmly to a screw or another part of the bodywork of your car after you have removed the paint. This is necessary for proper earthing.
• Proper wiring leads to clear sound.
CONNECTION OF THE REMOTE SWITCH CABLE
- Connect the orange cable to a switched power cable of the car radio. This controls the switching on and off of the amplifier.
- The switched power cable can serve as the radio's antenna.
AMPLIFIER INPUT CONNECTION
- This unit can be used with all car radios that have high power outputs.
- Separate basic car radio connection: Connect the car radio speaker output cables to the high-power inputs +/- right and left.
- General car radio connection: Connect the negative car radio speaker output cable to the two remaining cables +/- right and left.
AUX CONNECTION
- Connect the AUX input cable to the RCA connector as described: WHITE to the left preamplifier output of the car radio. RED to the right preamplifier output of the car radio.
- Before connecting the preamplifier output of the car radio or other equipment, make sure that the impedance and sensitivity match this AUX connection.
INPUT SENSITIVITY CONTROL
• Control the input sensitivity to the car radio.
