Frequently Asked Questions - AMPCH02 Auna

How to connect the power supply of the Auna AMPCH02 amplifier?
Connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminal of the battery via the fuse holder, and the black cable to a clean chassis ground (after removing paint). Use cables of appropriate gauge.
How to wire the remote turn-on cable?
Connect the orange wire to a switched power cable from the car stereo (often the antenna wire). This allows turning the amplifier on and off with the car stereo.
What types of inputs can I use on the amplifier?
The amplifier has RCA (gold) inputs for preamp signals and high-level inputs (speaker wires) for car stereos without RCA outputs. Both are compatible.
How to adjust the amplifier gain?
Use the GAIN potentiometer on the amplifier. Start at minimum and increase gradually until you get clear sound without distortion. First set the car stereo volume to 75%.
What speaker impedance is recommended?
The amplifier works with speakers of 4 to 16 ohms. Make sure the total impedance does not drop below 2 ohms per channel to avoid overload.
How to adjust the subwoofer cutoff frequency?
Use the LPF (Low Pass Filter) control on the amplifier. Turn the potentiometer between 30 and 250 Hz to set the subwoofer cutoff frequency. Adjust according to satellite speakers.
What to do if the amplifier does not turn on?
Check the power connections (B+ and GND), the fuse, and the remote turn-on wire. Make sure the car stereo is on. If the problem persists, check the ground and fuses.
How to protect the amplifier from overheating?
Mount the amplifier in a well-ventilated area. The device heats up significantly; leave at least 5 cm of space around it. Thermal protection automatically shuts off in case of overheating.
Can I use the amplifier with 2 ohm speakers?
No, the minimum impedance is 4 ohms per channel. Lower impedance may damage the amplifier.
How to clean the Auna AMPCH02 amplifier?
Use a dry microfiber cloth. Never use cleaning products or solvents. Disconnect the device before cleaning.
