How to install the WiFi driver for the Archer TXE75E?

Insert the provided CD and run Autorun.exe. You can also download the latest version from the TP-Link website. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the WiFi and Bluetooth drivers.

The card is not detected by Windows. What to do?

Check that the card is properly inserted into the PCIe x1 slot and that the USB cable is connected to the F_USB connector. Restart the computer. If the problem persists, try a different PCIe slot.

How to enable Bluetooth after installation?

Make sure the Bluetooth driver is installed. Click the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar or go to Settings > Bluetooth & other devices to enable it.

Which operating systems are compatible?

The Archer TXE75E is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 in 32 and 64-bit versions. Drivers for other OS are not provided.

How to pair a Bluetooth device?

Enable Bluetooth on your PC and on the device. Click the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar, choose Add a Bluetooth device, select your device from the list, and follow the instructions.

What to do if WiFi is slow or unstable?

Place the antennas in an open area, point them towards the router. Keep the card away from sources of interference (microwave ovens, etc.). Update the drivers. Make sure you are using the 5 GHz band for better performance.

Can I use this card on a laptop?

No, the Archer TXE75E is an internal PCIe card designed for desktop computers. For a laptop, use a USB WiFi adapter.

How to disable the old built-in WiFi adapter?

Go to Device Manager, expand the Network adapters section, right-click the old adapter, and select Disable.

Does the card heat up?

A slight warmth is normal during operation. Ensure the computer case is well ventilated. If temperature becomes excessive, check that the card's heatsink is properly in place.

Bevor Sie anfangen:

If you plan on using Bluetooth and already have connected Bluetooth devices, proceed with step 1. Otherwise, skip to step 2.

1 Disable Bluetooth

a. Right-click My Computer, select Manage, go to Device Manager.
b. Expand the Bluetooth node to find your existing Bluetooth device.
c. Right-click the existing Bluetooth device and select Disable. Note: Make sure you have disabled all existing Bluetooth devices (both built-in and third party).

2 Connect to a Computer

a. Turn off your computer, unplug the power cable then remove the case panel.

b. Connect the provided USB cable to the adapter.

c. Locate an available PCIEX1 slot and carefully insert the adapter.

Note:

If the bracket is not suitable for your computer, detach it from the adapter's board and replace it with the low-profile bracket.

d. Locate an available F_USB connector and carefully plug the USB cable into it.

e. Connect the antenna(s) to the adapter. Note:

To maximize performance, make sure the path between the antenna(s) and your router is clear.

f. Replace the case panel, plug in the power cable and turn on your computer.

3 Install Drivers

a. Insert the CD and run the Autorun.exe.

b. Install the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers.

• Wi-Fi: Click and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Wi-Fi installation.

• Bluetooth: Click and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Bluetooth installation.

4 Join a Wireless Network

a. Click the network icon (or) on the taskbar.
b. Select your Wi-Fi network, click Connect, and enter the password when prompted.

5 Pair With Bluetooth Devices

a. Right click the Bluetooth) icon on the taskbar. If it's not displayed, turn on Bluetooth in your PC settings first.

b. Select Add a Bluetooth Device or Add a Device to scan for available devices.
c. Select your Bluetooth device from the list and follow the onscreen instructions to complete pairing.

Note:

Make sure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and discoverable.
