USER MANUAL HO110712 Emerio

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. Children shall not play with the appliance.

3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by

children without supervision.

4. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless

continuously supervised.

5. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only

switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.- 3 -

1. Assemble the four wheels to the two base shelves.

2. Turn the heater upside down.

3. Position the wheel base assemblies between the end fins.

4. Traverse the clips through the appliance body and base shelves.

5. Tighten the screw.

Using the Appliance Set the thermostat knob to the minimal position and insert the plug to the power supply. Press the power switch: I=1000W; II=1500W; I+II=2500W Turn the thermostat knob in a clockwise direction to the max position. Once the room temperature has reached the desired value, turn the thermostat knob slowly in anti-clockwise direction until you hear a "click" sound; this is the setting temperature. The appliance will automatically maintain the setting temperature. It will switch on when the room temperature is below the setting, and switch off if it is above the setting. NOTE: The room must be in a good tight condition; if not, the heating results will be insufficient. After use, turn the thermostat to the minimal position and unplug the appliance from the power supply. SAFETY SYSTEM: The appliance has a safety system which automatically switches the unit off when overheated. If overheating occurs, remove the plug from the socket, push the buttons to switch the unit off and let it cool down for at least 10 minutes. Put the plug in the socket and switch the heater on. This heater is equipped with a tilt protection safety device. It has tilt protection safety functions and automatically switches off the power. For safety reasons, the unit will automatically switch off the power if it is put on unstable or uneven surfaces or if it is tilted accidentally.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

The oil heater should be cleaned regularly; wipe the dust off the surface of the fins. This improves radiation.- 6 - Unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow the appliance to cool down completely. Wipe the appliance with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasives. Do not scratch the fin surfaces with sharp tools. Damages of the coat layer result in rusty spots. STORAGE Ensure that the oil heater is cooled off completely. Roll up the power cord in the cord storage when the heater is not in use. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place. Warning If you have a problem with your heater, please do not attempt to repair it yourself. Doing so may cause damage or personal injury. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual, will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages then we will not be liable. Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use if the instruction manual is not properly executed. Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance, replacement of said parts or shipping and transportation costs to and from any place of repair are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
