BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging material.
- Place the base on a heat-resistant and level surface. Position the baking plate onto the base and make sure it sits well and stable.
- Operate the appliance before first use for approximately 10 minutes in order to burn off production residues. Make sure there is good ventilation. The appliance may emit some smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time. This is normal and will stop soon.
- Clean the baking plate after it has cooled down completely.
USING THE APPLIANCE
- Put the plug into a power outlet.
- Switch the thermostat control knob to the position "Max". Preheat till the heating light turns off.
- Place a scoop full of batter onto the baking plate. To determine the correct volume of batter, put as much batter onto the baking plate as is required to cover about 2/3 of the baking plate. - Evenly spread the batter over the baking plate using the batter spreader. The batter should be spread thinly over the baking plate.
- Adjust the thermostat to a desired temperature. The heating light turns off when the set temperature has been attained and turns on when the appliance heats up again to reach the temperature.

- After approx. 45 seconds, remove the crepe from the baking plate with the crepe turner.
- Repeat the process for more crepes.
- After use, switch the thermostat control knob to the position "Off" and unplug the appliance.

• The given baking time is just for reference. The baking time varies with individual taste.
Caution!
