WARNINGS

-WARNING: DO NOT use this product without reading the instructions first.

-WARNING: The cot should no longer be used when the child can sit up, kneel up or stand up unaided.

-WARNING: Placing additional elements in the cot may cause asphyxiation.

-WARNING:DO NOT place the product near any other products that could cause a danger of asphyxiation or strangulation, for example: strings, curtains, cords, etc.

-The assembly elements must always be securely fastened and inspected to make sure they do not collapse and to prevent any of the fastening screws or connection elements from coming loose, as the baby or parts of the baby's clothing could get trapped, such as: dummy cords, hooks, collars and earrings causing a possible risk of strangulation.

-The mini cot should always be placed or a horizontal floor.

-DO NOT let children play near the mini cot without supervision.

-DO NOT use the product if any of the parts are broken, damaged or missing. Contact JANÉ S.A. for replacement parts and extra instructions if necessary. DO NOT replace any parts yourself.

-Make sure that all the assembly devices are correctly fitted, as well as the locking devices.

-Never use the cover without the metal structure.

-WARNING: DO NOT use more than one mattress in the mini cot.

-WARNING: To prevent the risk of fire: be aware of the risk of placing the mini cot near to fire or other sources of heat, such as electric or gas heating devices, etc.

-To avoid the risk of falls and suffocation, never put two or more mattresses in the cot to try and make the child more comfortable.

-DO NOT use accessories that have not be approved by the manufacturer.

-WARNING: Only use the mattress that comes with the mini cot. To prevent the risk of suffocation, do not add a second mattress.

PLAYPEN

i IMPORTANT NOTE!: KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE AFTER READING CAREFULLY.

-WARNING: The playpen is ready for use only when the locking mechanisms are engaged. These mechanisms should be checked before each use to make sure they work correctly.

-WARNING: Make sure the playpen is completely unfolded and that all the locking mechanisms are engaged, before placing the child in this playpen.

-WARNING: DO NOT position the playpen near sources of fire or heat.

-WARNING: DO NOT use the playpen without the base.

-WARNING: DO NOT leave any object in the playpen or position it near another product, which the child could use as a support to push his feet against, or that could cause a risk or choking or strangling, for example, ropes, cords for curtains or blinds, etc.

-WARNING: DO NOT use the playpen if any of the parts are broken, worn out or missing, and only use replacement parts that have been approved by the manufacturer.

-WARNING: To prevent the risk of fire: be aware of the risk of placing the mini cot near to fire or other sources of heat, such as electric or gas heating devices, etc.

-WARNING: DO NOT use more than one mattress in the playpen.

-Make sure that all the assembly devices are always correctly fitted. Check them regularly and, if necessary, adjust them.
-To prevent the risk of falls do not use the playpen when the baby is able to jump out of the playpen unaided.

-For use with children up to a maximum age of: 3 years or 15 kg.

-WARNING: Only use the mattress that comes with this playpen, do not put an extra mattress on top, this would cause a risk of suffocation.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING: MINI COT - PLAYPEN

-Keep the metal parts clean and dry to prevent them from rusting.
-Regularly grease the mobile parts and mechanisms with a silicone-based spray. Do not use oil or grease.
-To clean the plastic parts, just use mild detergent and warm water.
-For the fabric parts follow the washing instructions carefully. Let the parts dry naturally, but never in direct sunlight, as this could cause the fabric to fade.
-The upholstery parts that cannot be taken off can be cleaned with a damp sponge and a neutral detergent.

GUARANTEE INFORMATION

This article is guaranteed in accordance with R.D. 1/2007 of 16th November. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase, you need to show it at the store where you purchased the product to prove validity in the event of any type of claim.

This guarantee does not cover any faults or breakages caused by misuse of the article or by not following the safety and maintenance information listed in the instructions and on the care labels.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• UNFOLDING AND ASSEMBLING THE PLAYPEN

With the playpen on a table or clean surface, unfold it completely until you hear the two safety CLICKS.

OPEN

"CLICK" = OK "CLICK" = OK

Unfold the four legs until you hear them CLICK indicating that they are locked into place.

Check that all four legs are in the correctly locked into place.

Put the folded mattress into the playpen as shown in diagram 7 and turn it 90^ to unfold it.

For the mattress to be securely held in place pass the strip through the vent of the playpen and fasten it with the hook on the leg, repeat this step on all four corners of the mattress.

SUPPORT FOR THE MINI COT AND UPPER MATTRESS

Check that the 2 tubes are in the cover (1) and that the 2 Velcro flaps are fastened (2).

Warning: Do not use the mini cot support without the metal support tubes.

• FITTING THE SUPPORT FOR THE MINI COT AND UPPER MATTRESS

Place the support for the cot and the mattress inside the playpen, raise the flap and insert the zip pull into the zip of the playpen, closing it all around the internal walls of the playpen until reaching the end.

To complete this step, cover the zip pull by lowering the flap and fastening it with the Velcro.

The mini cot is slightly inclined to help the child stay in the correct position. Always position the child so his head is under the flap with the face symbol.

• ADJUSTING THE INCLINATION OF THE MINI COT MATTRESS

You can adjust the inclination of the base of the mattress using the two straps found on the headrest section. To raise the mattress tighten the straps and to lower it loosen the straps.

- REMOVING THE SUPPORT OF THE MINI COT AND MATTRESS

To remove the support from the cot, raise the flap and fully open the zip all the way around the walls of the playpen.

Never use the basket of the Mini cot by itself. While the basket is in use it must always be correctly fitted in the playpen structure using the support zip.

Take the mattress.

NOTE: The mattress of the mini cot has a special safety zip. To open and close it, insert a clip or small object into the hole and use the puller.

• FOLDING THE PLAYPEN

To fold the legs, press the button on the corners and move the leg inwards towards the middle of the playpen. Repeat this step for all four legs.

Once the legs have been folded, smooth the fabric on the other side to make it easier to fold the playpen.

Press the side buttons and fold the playpen in half.
