How to turn on the Klarstein Lindholm heater?

Make sure the main switch on the side is on. Then press the POWER button on the device or remote control. The screen shows the room temperature and heating starts in low power mode.

How to set the desired temperature?

Use the PLUS and MINUS buttons on the device or remote control to adjust the temperature between 16 °C and 40 °C. The value is displayed on the screen.

How to use the automatic shut-off timer?

Press the TIMER button to enter the timer setting. Use the +/- buttons to choose a duration from 1 to 24 hours. The device will automatically turn off at the end of the set time.

How to activate the child lock?

Press and hold the CHILD LOCK button for 3 seconds. A padlock symbol appears on the screen, and all panel buttons are locked. Repeat the operation to deactivate.

Install the heater at least 15 cm from the floor and 50 cm from the ceiling. Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter from combustible materials such as furniture, curtains or carpets.

How to clean the heater?

Unplug the device and let it cool completely. Use a vacuum cleaner for the ventilation slots and grilles. Exterior surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth (not wet). Do not use abrasive products.

Can I use the heater with a programmable plug?

No, the use of an external timer or remote-controlled plug is prohibited to avoid the risk of overheating. Use only the built-in timer.

What to do if the heater does not heat?

Check that the main switch is on and the set temperature is higher than the room temperature. Make sure the child lock is not activated. If the problem persists, contact a qualified professional.

Can the heater be installed on the ceiling?

No, installation is intended only on the wall or floor using the provided feet. Never install it on the ceiling.

WALL INSTALLATION

Note: The product must be installed at least 15 cm from the floor and 50 cm from the ceiling.

• Remove the bracket from the housing (Figure 1).
• Drill the holes on both sides of the wall and then insert the plastic expansion plugs. Fasten the bracket to the wall with screws (picture 2).
• Move the heater to a suitable position so that the holes are level with the bracket (Fig. 3).
• Tighten the screw at the top of the bracket to ensure that it is tight (Figure 4).

Mount the feet on the baseboard in accordance with below scheme.

Switch on the device

Before switching on, turn the main switch on the side of the heater. Then press the POWER button. The display shows the room temperature and operates at a low heating level.

Select heating mode

Press the MODE button to select low heat output (0) or high heat output (0)?

Setting the temperature

Press the PLUS or MINUS button to set the desired temperature between 16-40 °C.

Setting the switch-off timer

Press the TIMER button to set the timer between 1-24 hours. When the timer expires, the unit will automatically turn off.

Activating/deactivating the child lock

Press and hold the CHILD LOCK button for 3 seconds to activate the child lock. The corresponding symbol appears in the display and the buttons are locked. Press the button again for 3 seconds to deactivate the child lock.

Operation by remote control

The touch screen buttons on the product correspond to the remote control functions:

CLEANING AND CARE

Note: Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait until the unit has completely cooled down before cleaning it.

• Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the ventilation slots and grilles.
• Remove dust on the outside surfaces with a damp (not wet) cloth.
• Do not use strong cleaning agents or abrasives.
• Do not spray the device with liquids or immerse it in water or other liquids.
  • Never open the heater housing.

Storage

Keep the unit in a dust-free place during the low season. Pack it in the original carton. Wind the heater cable cleanly to avoid damaging the cable.
