- Thoroughly read these user in- structions prior to initial use.
- Above all, observe the safety in- structions!
- The device should only be used as described in these user in- structions.

- If you pass the device on to someone else, please include this copy of the user instructions. The user instructions are a part of the product. We hope you enjoy using your new car heating mat!
This car heating mat is used to heat the hu- man body during the car ride. The device is intended for private use only, not for commercial use or use in hospitals.
2.1 Markings on the device
You will find the following markings on the label: The car heating mat must nev- er be used by children under the age of 3 years. Please follow the instructions for use. The car heating mat must nev- er be penetrated by needles. The car heating mat must nev- er be washed.
2.2 Foreseeable misuse
DANGER! Risk of injury through burning ~ Children under the age of 3 years, peo- ple with restricted freedom of movement and animals must not be placed on the car heating mat, since they may not be able to make themselves noticed when the mat gets too hot.
Warnings If necessary, the following warnings will be used in these user instructions: DANGER! High risk: failure to observe this warning may result in injury to life and limb. WARNING! Moderate risk: failure to observe this warning may result in injury or serious material damage. CAUTION: low risk: failure to observe this warning may result in minor injury or material damage. Children younger than 3 years are not permitted to use this device, since they are unable to react to excessive heat.
This device can be used by children from the age of 8 and people with restricted physical, sensory or intellectual abilities or people without adequate experience and/or understanding, if they are su- pervised or instructed on how to use this device safely and if they are aware of the resulting danger.
The device is provided with heatable surfaces. The device must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and those unable to react to excessive heat. Furthermore, it must not be used after the ingestion of pain relievers or alcohol.
Children must not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are supervised.
Prior to every cleaning, disconnect the 12-V plug from the 12-V socket.
Never immerse the device in water, and protect it from drips and splashes.
The device must not be used when wet.
If the device is not in use, store it as follows: - Let the device cool before folding it; - Avoid sharp bending of the device by depositing objects on it during storage.
Check the device often for signs of wear or damage. Should such signs exist or the device not be used as intended or the device mal- function, it must be returned to the dealer before using it again.
DANGER for children ~ Children must not play with packing ma- terial. Do not allow children to play with plastic bags. There is a risk of suffoca- tion. ~ Keep the device out of the reach of chil- dren. DANGER to and from pets and livestock ~ Electrical devices can represent a haz- ard to pets and livestock. In addition, animals can also cause damage to the device. For this reason you should keep animals away from electrical devices at all times. General ~ Please take note that every claim under warranty and liability expires if accesso- ries are used, which are not recom- mended in these user instructions or if spare parts used for repairs are not ex- clusively original spare parts. This also applies to repairs performed by unqual- ified persons. ~ In case of possible malfunctions during the warranty period, the repair of the device must always be performed by our Service Center. Otherwise any war- ranty claim expires. ~ Ensure that the cable of the 12-V plug never becomes a trip hazard, or that anyone can become entangled in it or step on it. ~ The device must only be operated under supervision. Major damage such as overheating usually makes itself known by odour development. ~ If the device is powered via the ciga- rette lighter socket for an extended peri- od of time, ensure that the car battery will never be discharged completely in the process. ~ The device must not be operated close to heat sources, or in direct sunlight to prevent overheating. DANGER! Risk of electric shock ~ Never use the device or parts thereof if it is damaged. In this case, have the de- vice repaired by qualified personnel. ~ The device must never be penetrated by water or other liquids. Therefore: - never use outdoors; - never use in a very moist environ- ment; - never use the device to deposit bever- ages or other liquids; - always keep the 12-V plug and the cable away from moisture. ~ If, nevertheless, liquid should penetrate the device, disconnect the power con- nector immediately and have the device repaired by qualified personnel.
If you are not going to use the device for an extended period, pull out the 12-V plug. Only then is the device completely de-energised and protected against acci- dental starting. DANGER in road traffic ~ Ensure that the heat will not make you drowsy. Otherwise switch off the car heating mat immediately and take a break. ~ Never operate the device in the car dur- ing the ride. The possible distraction may endanger road safety. If you would like to change the settings, stop the car to do so. WARNING! Risk of material damage ~ Only switch on the car heating mat, if it is unfolded. ~ Do not deposit suitcases or similar on the car heating mat. Corners or edges may damage the product.
~ Ensure that the 12-V plug is firmly seat- ed in the 12-V socket. Otherwise, a loose contact may switch the device fre- quently on and off, which may lead to overheating. ~ Always connect the 12-V plug to a 12-V socket, and never to a 24-V socket. ~ Never use any abrasive, corrosive or scratching cleaning agents.

hook-and-loop fasteners of the lower fastening belts|5. Upper fastening belts|2:
6. Fasten the upper fastening belts|2 to
the head rest: - Figure E: open the fastening rings|1 and attach these to the mounting rods of the head rest (if present). - Figure F: open one of the fastening rings|1 and fasten it to the other one. Place the upper fastening belts|2 around the head rest (if it does not have mounting rods).
7. For a good grip, evenly adjust the
hook-and-loop fasteners of the upper fastening belts|2.
5.3 Connecting the car
heating mat WARNING! Risk of material dam- age! ~ Always connect the 12-V plug to a 12-V socket, and never to a 24-V socket.
- Connect the 12-V plug|7 firmly to the cigarette lighter or another adequate 12-V socket.
- The power indicator|8 is lit as long as the car heating mat|3 is attached to the car power supply.
6. Switching the device
1. Switch on the device by pushing the
on/off switch|6 to I.
2. Switch the device off by pushing the
on/off switch|6 to 0.
7.1 Cleaning the device
In order to enjoy your device for a long time, you should regularly clean it. DANGER! Risk of electric shock! ~ Disconnect the power supply prior to every cleaning. ~ Never immerse the device in water. ~ Do not let water or cleaning agent run into the device. CAUTION: ~ Never use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents, since these may damage the parts.

7.2 Replacing the fuse of
the 12-V plug The 12-V plug|7 is equipped with a fuse to protect the power-supply system of the vehi- cle. Should the power supply no longer func- tion, check or replace this fuse:

In the event of product defects, you are entitled to statutory rights against the vendor. These statutory rights are not restricted by our war- ranty presented in the following. Warranty conditions The warranty period starts with the purchase date. Please keep the original purchase re- ceipt in a safe place. This document is re- quired to verify the purchase. If within three years from the purchase date of this product a material or factory defect occurs, the product will be repaired or re- placed by us – at our discretion – free of charge to you. This warranty implies that within the period of three years the defective device and the purchase receipt are present- ed, including a brief written description of the defect and the time it occurred. If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired or a new product will be returned to you. No new warranty period starts with a repair or replacement of the product. This warranty expires if the product is dam- aged, not used as intended or not serviced. For the proper operation of the product, all in- structions listed in the operating instructions must be observed carefully. Any form of use and handling that is advised against in the operating instructions or warned against must always be avoided. The product is only intended for private and not for commercial use. In the case of incor- rect and improper treatment, use of force and interventions not performed by our author- ised Service Centre, the warranty shall cease.
