Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use this product only as described and only for the specified areas of application. Intended use
This seat cushion is intended for warming the human body whilst driving a car (for private use only). This seat cushion is not intended for use in hospitals or for commercial applications. It is particularly unsuitable for warming babies, infants, persons who are helpless or insensitive to heat, and animals. Any usage other than that described above or modifications to the seat cushion is not permitted and may result in injury and/or damage to the seat cushion. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper application or usage. The user is the sole bearer of the risk.

This section provides you with important safety information regarding the handling of the product. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.
Basic safety instructions
For safe handling of the product, follow the safety information below:

Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions.
■ Check product for visible external damage before use.
Do not use products that have been damaged or dropped.
■ To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged cables or connectors to be exchanged by an authorised specialist or the Customer Service Department.
This product may be used by children of the age of 8 years or more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the potential risks. Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance by children should not be carried out without supervision.
■ Do not use the seat cushion for helpless persons, babies or persons who are insensitive to heat (e.g. people with diabetes, people with illness-related skin changes or scarred areas of skin in the usage area, or after ingesting pain relieving drugs or alcohol).
■ Do not operate the seat cushion unsupervised.
■ Have all repairs carried out by authorised specialist companies or the Customer Service department. Improper repairs can pose significant risks to the user. Warranty claims also become void.
■ Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts. It can only be guaranteed that safety requirements are complied with if original replacement parts are used.
■ Protect the seat cushion from moisture and liquid penetration. Never submerge the product in water and do not place objects filled with liquids (such as flower vases) on the product.
Do not insert needles or other sharp pointed objects into the seat cushion.
■ The product must not be used in the vicinity of heat sources, naked flames (e.g. candles) or in direct sunlight in order to avoid overheating.
■ When the product is being used in vehicles, it must be ensured that safety equipment is not adversely affected, particularly the side airbags. Please refer to the operating instructions for your vehicle or ask your workshop if you have any questions regarding airbags.
■ Please ensure that you do not fall asleep when using the seat cushion. Using the product for too long can cause burns.
■ Do not use the seat cushion on areas of the body that are inflamed, injured or swollen. If in doubt, obtain medical advice before using the product. Otherwise the inflammation, injury or swelling may be aggravated.
■ During operation, always ensure that the 12 V connector is firmly plugged into the 12 V connection and the socket is free of soiling. If there is insufficient contact between the connector and the socket, vehicle vibration may cause the power supply to switch on and off at short intervals. This can result in overheating.
■ Please ensure that you:
- only connect the seat cushion to the voltage specified in the technical information,
- do not switch the seat cushion on when it is folded or crumpled up,
- do not kink the seat cushion sharply,
- do not place any objects such as cases or washing baskets on the seat cushion whilst it is switched on. Otherwise the seat cushion could become damaged.

NOTE
▶ Check the contents for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
If the contents are incomplete or damaged due to defective packaging or through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the product from transport damage. The packaging materials have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal attributes, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Before initial use
■ Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing products from the product.

▶ Packaging material must not be used as a play thing since it poses a risk of suffocation.

Handling and use
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the product.
Securing the seat cushion
◆ Place the seat cushion 1 on the car seat.
◆ Pull the seat cushion① securing straps ⑥ over the head restraint of the car seat.
- Secure the seat cushion① carefully using the securing straps ② (see Fig. 1).
NOTE
It is not always necessary to use every strap ^6 /2. Work out the best way of securing the seat cushion to your seat. Use the following illustrations for assistance.
▶ If the backrest is extremely high or wide, secure the seat cushion as shown in Fig. 2.

DANGER
If your vehicle is equipped with side airbags, please ensure that the securing straps ⑥ are only pulled over the head restraint supports and not over the top part of the car seat when securing the seat cushion ① (see Fig. 2). Otherwise the side airbag may be affected!
Operating the seat cushion
◆ Plug the 12 V vehicle connector④ into the cigarette lighter. The Power LED⑤ illuminates.
Turn the on/off switch 3 into position "I" to switch the seat cushion 1n.
Turn the on/off switch 3 into position "0" to switch the seat cushion 1 off.
After using the seat cushion, disconnect the 12 V vehicle connector from the cigarette lighter.
NOTE
The seat cushion ^1 also consumes power in standby mode and therefore must be disconnected from the on-board power supply after use! Otherwise, depending on the vehicle type, the battery will be discharged if the motor is switched off.
Replacing the fuse
There is a fuse in the 12 V vehicle connector 4 for protecting the vehicle's on-board power supply. If the product no longer works, check the fuse and replace if necessary.
◆ Open the 12 V vehicle connector ^4 by gently turning the fluted screw insert © anticlockwise (using pliers if necessary) and remove it.
Now remove the connector tip® from the fuse A and remove the fuse A.
Now place a new fuse of type F5AL 250 V into the 12 V vehicle connector ④, place the plug tip Ⓑ onto the slightly protruding end of the fuse and screw the previously removed screw insert Ⓒ back in.

▶ If the product still does not function, or the fuse blows again immediately, there is a defect. Please then contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).
Cleaning

CAUTION
Possible damage to product!
▶ Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
▶ Protect the seat cushion 1 from moisture and liquid penetration.
▶ To avoid irreparable damage to the product, never submerge the seat cushion ① water.
▶ Do not use chemical cleaners or scouring agents to clean the seat cushion ^1 .
Do not hang up the seat cushion 1 to dry using clothes pegs or similar.
▶ Do not re-connect the seat cushion 1 to the power supply until it is completely dry.
■ Clean the seat cushion ^1 with a lightly moistened cloth and a mild detergent.
Storage
If the seat cushion 1 is not going to be used for a long period, keep in the original packaging in a dry place without anything placed on top.
Do not place any objects on top the seat cushion ^1 during storage in order to prevent the seat cushion ^1 om being sharply kinked.
Disposal
Disposal of the product

Never dispose of the product in the normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the product through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal centre should you be in any doubt.

Warranty
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Customer Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.
