Headphones Introduction We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The buttons built into the product allows you to select the piece of music from the playlist selected on the play- back device. They are further used to adjust the volume of the product. The headphones may be paired with two different devices (e.g. mobile and computer) at the same time to e.g. use both the telephone features of the mobile and the audio features of the computer. The built-in rechargeable battery allows for cordless operation. The instruc- tions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please famil- iarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documenta- tion with it. Intended use This Headphones with ANC Bluetooth
and NFC function (hereinafter referred to as “product”) a consumer electronic, is intended to render audio transmitted from a smartphone, computer, or similar playback devices via Bluetooth
connection. The product is also suitable as a hands-free de- vice for mobiles; the mobile or the computer must support Bluetooth
5.0 standard to do so. This
product was designed for personal use. It must not be used for commercial purposes. Any other use is considered improper. Any claims resulting from improper use or due to unauthorised modi- fication of the product will be considered unwar- ranted. Any such use is at your own risk. DANGER due to diminished perception
Do not use the headphones while driving a vehicle or riding a bicycle, operating ma- chinery, or in other situations, where dimin- ished perception caused by ambient noise could endanger you or others. Also observe the laws and regulations of the country in which you use the headphones.
RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE
This product does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user. The rechargeable battery cannot be replaced. Keep the product away from moisture, dripping and splash water! Do not place burning candles or other open fire on or next to the product. Check the product before every use! Discontinue use if any damage to the product or the charging cable is detected! If you notice smoke or unusual noise or odour, switch the product off immediately and remove the USB cable. Sudden temperature changes may cause condensation inside the product. In this case, allow the product to acclimate for some time before using it again to prevent short circuits!
Do not operate the product near heat sources, e.g. radiators or other devices emitting heat! Do not throw the product into fire and do not expose to high temperatures. DANGER Do not try to open the product! It has no internal parts requiring maintenance.21 GB/IE WARNING – Radio interference Switch the product off on airplanes, in hospitals, service rooms, or near medical electronic systems. The wireless signals transmitted could impact the functionality of sensitive electronics. Keep the product at least 20 cm from pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, as the electromagnetic radiation may impair the func- tionality of pacemakers. The radio waves trans- mitted could cause interference in hearing aids. Do not place the product near flammable gasses or potentially explosives areas (e.g. paint shops) with the wireless components on, as the radio waves emitted can cause explosions and fire. The range of the radio waves varies by environ- mental conditions. In the event of wireless data transmission, unauthorised third parties receiving the data cannot be excluded. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG is not responsible for interference with radios or televisions due to unauthorised modifi- cation of the product. The OWIM GmbH & Co KG further assumes no liability for using or replacing cables and products not distributed by OWIM. The user of the product is fully responsi- ble for correcting interference caused by such unauthorised modification of the product, as well as replacement of such products. A warning with this symbol is to indicate that always remember that excessive sound pressure or volumes from headphones or earphones can lead to damage to the hearing. Always ad- just the volume to a pleasant, not too loud level. If you have adjusted the volume of the headphones to be too high and use that for an extended period, it can damage the listener’s hearing. Safety instructions for built-in rechargeable batteries Never open the product, repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel. WARNING! RISK OF EXPLOSION! Do not throw the product into fire. Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect rechargea- ble batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight. If rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention! Do not cover the product during operation or charging. Otherwise the product can overheat. This product contains a rechargeable battery, which can lead to fire, explosion or leakage of hazardous substances in case of incorrect application. Before use Before use, verify the package contents are complete and undamaged! Charging the battery The battery must be charged prior to first use. The LED
will flash red and headphones sound acoustic signal when the battery is drained. The battery should then be charged as soon as possible. Plug the micro-USB plug
on the charging cable into the USB charging socket

on the charging cable into the USB port on a PC or a USB adapter (not included). NOTE: The LED
will flash red whilst charging. Once the battery is charged, above 50 % battery capacity the LED
will light up green. Using the headphones Connect the headphones with a communi- cation device. Place the headphones near a switched on communication device (e.g. mobile or computer). Pairing with a new Bluetooth
for approx. 2 seconds until the LED
flashes white. This indicates the headphones are now ready to connect mode, which remains active for 5 minutes. The headphones will switch off if they do not detect a Bluetooth
device to connect to. Now connect your communication device (mobile phone or computer) via Bluetooth
with the headphones. Please refer to the notes in the instructions for your communica- tion device. Select the entry “SBKL 40 B2“ from the list of devices detected by your computer or mobile. Once the connection has been established, the LED
will flash white for 5 seconds. After that the LED
will turn OFF. Please note, your communication device must support Bluetooth
Standard 5.0 to use all options. You may need to approve the connection on the communication device. Please refer to the instructions for use of the communication device on this topic! The headphones may be manually switched off by holding the On / Off button

device The headphones may be connected to two Bluetooth
communication devices at the same time. If the headphones are already connected to a device, follow the steps below to connect to the second device: Activate multipoint mode by pressing and holding Bluetooth
for 2 seconds. The first communication device (mobile phone or computer) is disconnected. Now connect to the second communication device via Bluetooth
with the headphones. Please refer to the notes in the instructions for your communication device. Select the entry “SBKL 40 B2“ from the list of devices detected by your computer or mobile. The second communication device is connected. Select the entry “SBKL 40 B2” from the list of devices detected by your first communi- cation device / computer. Now, both com- munication devices are connected to the headphones simultaneously. After connected the headphone with 2 Bluetooth
devices, you can playback music via either one of device. Connection via NFC You can simply connect the headphones with your mobile device by tapping 2 devices together via NFC touchpoint
Please follow below steps to complete the Bluetooth
connection via NFC touchpoint
1. Turn the headphones and the Bluetooth
will flash white. The NFC function is now enabled and ready for the connection by tapping the NFC touchpoint
2. Enable your mobile device with both
and NFC function powered on.
3. Tap the NFC touchpoint of your mobile
device and the NFC touchpoint
of the headphones. Your mobile device may prompt out a message for Bluetooth
connection for acceptance.
4. Once the connection between the mobile
device and the headphones is established, the LED
flashes white and then turn OFF. NOTE: This feature requires your mobile device to support Bluetooth
pairing via the NFC feature. Please refer to your owner’s manual for your mobile device to learn about this NFC feature. Clearing paired devices You can clear up the paired device anytime. Please press both Vol+ button
together at the same time for approx. 5 seconds. The memory in the headphones is cleared and it will not auto- connected to the previous paired communi- cation device. Voice announcement This headphone integrated with voice announce- ment feature that will let you know existing product status: – ANC ON / OFF status – Bluetooth
connection status – Rechargeable battery capacity level whilst Power ON Connecting the headphones through audio cable Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug at one end of audio cable
to 3.5 mm jack socket
Insert the 3.5 mm jack plug at other end of audio cable
to 3.5 mm jack socket of your playback device. When a 3.5 mm cable is plugged into the
con- nection will be disconnected. The ANC function remains ON. Start a playlist on your playback device. You can only adjust the music volume on the playback device. Active Noise Cancellation function (ANC) In order to filter out unwanted noises from surrounding you can enable the active noise cancellation (ANC) function. Press once the ANC button
to switch ON / OFF the ANC function and an acoustic signal will sound. Voice control function with Siri / Google assistant Please follow below steps to activate the Voice Control function:
1. First activate Siri or Google assistent on you
mobile device. For IOS device, please complete the Siri setup before activate with this voice control function on headphone. For Android device, please open the Google assistant function and then follow its instructions to complete setting before using voice control function on headphone. NOTE: Google Assistant is available on Android 5.0 or above devices.24 GB/IE

Button Function – During playback, press and hold approx. 2 seconds to jump to the previous track.
In paired mode , press and hold for approx. 2 seconds to change to pairing mode to allow another communication device for con- nection. – Press once to switch ANC ON / OFF – Press and hold approx. 2 seconds to turn the product ON / OFF Headphones button functions as a hands-free device You may also use the headphones for telephone calls when used with a communication device which supports this function. If your communica- tion device supports the Bluetooth
