Congratulations! You have just bought a high-quality appliance, which will guarantee you years of pleasure. Please read the instruction manual carefully before you take the appliance into use. Save these instructions carefully!
All persons who have NOT read the instruction manual are NOT allowed to use this appliance.
Pay ATTENTION to the warranty conditions.
1. SAFETY REGULATIONS
This appliance has been built in accordance with the European CE safety standards and is compliant with the general recognized standards and prescriptions with regard to the safety of appliances. As for all electrical appliances, the necessary precautions need to be taken in order to avoid accidents or damages.

- ATTENTION please! Burning danger! Due to the use of the flame the surface becomes hot. Only touch the handles or the control buttons when the appliance is in action.

- ATTENTION please! After switching off the appliance surfaces stay hot which causes burning danger. Let the appliance cool down completely before replacing it, cleaning it or putting it away.
- This appliance may be used by children of min. 8 years old, by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge on condition they are supervised and instructed to use the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Cooking appliances should be positioned in a stable situation with the handles (if any) positioned to avoid spillage of the hot liquids.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and for applications, excluding: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other operating environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels,
motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.

NEVER use the appliance outdoor.

NEVER touch the control buttons, the electrical cord or the plug with wet hands, and NEVER immerse them in water or any other liquid. They are only to be cleaned with a damp cloth. Should they get wet anyway, immediately pull out the plug from the socket.

A damaged cord can cause electric shocks. NEVER use the appliance if it is damaged, fallen or shows a malfunction, or if the cord or plug are damaged.

Immediately switch off the appliance and pull out the plug: after use or when the appliance is NOT in use, if the appliance does not function properly and when cleaning the appliance.

NEVER use separate timers or remote control systems.

Only use the appliance with the mains voltage as mentioned on the rating label (230V AC).

For your own safety, the appliance will only work if it has been assembled correctly. Check that all parts were assembled correctly.

Only use this appliance to prepare beverages/food (soup, puree, cream...).
The appliance is NOT intended for dough, pastry.
NEVER leave the appliance unattended and NEVER move it when plugged in.
- Check the appliance and the power cord for any damage. Do not use the appliance and return it to the sales point in case of damage.
NEVER let the cord hang over the edge of the table or the counter.

NEVER take or move the appliance by the cord. NEVER bend it or squeeze the cord or turn it round the appliance.

The knives are sharp, be careful!
NEVER pull the cord itself to pull the plug from the socket.
NEVER use extension cords and ALWAYS unroll the cord completely.
NEVER use the cord in the proximity of sources of heat, such as ovens, stoves or heating
- NEVER cover the appliance when it's working or when it is plugged in.
NEVER use the appliance when empty.
- NEVER fill the jug above the MAX indication and make sure it is always filled up to the MIN indication. Fill the jug with the ingredients you wish to prepare. Then add water until the jug is filled between MIN and MAX:

Repairs can only be executed by a recognized expert or a recognized repair shop.
2. BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove all packaging and stickers.
- Keep packaging away from children.
- First check your appliances for possible damages. If it is damaged, do NOT use the appliance but bring it back to your sales point.
Before the first use we recommend to clean all components thoroughly (see 'Cleaning').
All parts should be dry!
- Ensure that the voltage marked on the appliance is the same as your main voltage. According to the safety law: only use earthed sockets.
3. GENERALUSE
- The Soup Maker has a mixing bar to mix the ingredients and a heating element to heat the ingredients and to cook soup.
- Assemble the appliance: place the lid with the mixing bar on the stainless steel jug.
- Before connecting the appliance to the socket, add all ingredients and the water.
Then follow the next steps.
- Insert the contact pin into the jug (see drawing) and afterwards the plug in the socket.
You'll hear a sound signal.
- Activate the appliance by pressing the on/off button

You'll hear a sound signal and the appliance switches automatically to standby mode.


- Press the mode button to choose a function.
- Press the start button to start the selected function. The chosen function will flash until the program is finished.

The Soup Maker has a "Time Memory" function, which means that you can add extra ingredients while a program is running:

Remove delid carefully
- Add the ingredients (within 3 minutes)
- Replace the lid
If this takes less than 3 minutes the program will continue. If it takes longer than 3 minutes, you will have to set the program again. Attention: when using the Smooth, Chunky or Compote mode, hot steam will be released when removing the lid. This is normal.
- The Soup Maker has an "Anti-overflow function". When the substance reaches the overfill sensor, the appliance deactivates the function immediately. As soon as the substance is reduced, the Soup Maker restarts the recently chosen function.
- Once the program is finished, the appliance deactivates automatically. You'll hear a sound signal every second.
- Press the on/off button to shut down the appliance and remove the plug from the socket.
- Remove the lid carefully and pour the fresh soup/compote in a bowl.
ATTENTION: Never let the motor block come into contact with liquids. If this happens, immediately remove the plug and have the appliance checked by a recognized repairman.
ATTENTION: At first use some smell might be noticed. This is normal and will disappear by itself.
ATTENTION: NEVER let the appliance overheat. Let the appliance cool down after every program.
4. TIPS FOR PREPARED FOOD
For the best result, use fresh ingredients.
First add the solid ingredients to the jug, then liquids.


Slice solid food (vegetables, fruit, ...) into pieces of about 2 cm.
Disperse the ingredients evenly over the bottom of the jug.
REMARK: Make sure the content (liquids included) is between the MIN and MAX indication. (1300ML - 1600ML)
Do not overload the motor by using too large quantities at once or too solid ingredients. If the motor gets jammed, immediately shut off the appliance and pull the plug to avoid overheating.
Mix the ingredients for a few seconds only. Repeat regularly to obtain the desired result.
ATTENTION: This appliance can NOT be used to prepare meat (e.g. scrag)
ATTENTION: Add enough liquids to prevent the ingredients from burning.
5. SETTINGS
ATTENTION: Never add over 1,6L of cold liquid, or not over 1,3L of warm liquid into the jug
The Soup Maker has 6 functions. Select the desired function:
1. BLENDERFUNCTION

This program is to mix ingredients or soup until it has the desired structure.
The pre-set cooking time for this function is ca. 1 minute 50 seconds (mixing).
- Press the mode button

to select the blender function.
- Press the on/off button
when the blender function is flashing. The program starts after the sound signal.
2. KEEP WARM FUNCTION

This program is to heat or reheat soup. The pre-set cooking time for this function is ca. 26 minutes (heating).

Press the mode button to select the keep warm function.

Press the on/off button when the keep warm function is flashing. The program starts after the sound signal.
3. SMOOTHHIE FUNCTION

This program is perfect for preparing smoothies and juices based on fresh ingredients. The pre-set cooking time for this function is ca. 3 minutes (mixing).

Press the mode button to select the smoothie function.

Press the on/off button when the smoothie function is flashing. The program starts after the sound signal.
ATTENTION: NEVER add ice cubes to the jug!
4. COMPOTE FUNCTION

This program is to make compote. The pre-set cooking time for this function is ca. 24 minutes (mixing and heating).

Press the mode button to select the compute function.

Press the on/off button when the compute function is flashing. The program starts after the sound signal.
Example of Compute recipe
- Cut 700 gr of solid ingredients into pieces of around 2 cm.
- Add them in the jug.
- Add 300 ml liquids
- Insert the plug into the socket and chose the compote mode.
5. CHUNKY SOUP FUNCTION

This program is to cook soup with chunks. The pre-set cooking time for this function is ca. 30 minutes (heating).

Press the mode button to select the chunky soup function.

Press the on/off button when the chunky soup function is flashing. The program starts after the sound signal.
6. SMOOTH SOUP FUNCTION

This program is to cook smooth soup and to mix soup. The ingredients will be cooked and mixed until you get a smooth mixture. The pre-set cooking time for this function is ca. 26 minutes.

Press the mode button to select the smooth soup function.

Press the on/off button when the smooth soup function is flashing. The program starts after the sound signal.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after every use.
- Wash the jug and the mixing bar with hot soapy water (NEVER immerse)
- Wipe with a sponge or towel
- Thoroughly rinse.
- ATTENTION: the knives are sharp!
Thoroughly dry all parts after cleaning and store on a dry well ventilated place.
To remove burned food remainders:
Food with a high sugar or fiber content can stick to the bottom of the jug. In that case:
- Fill the jug with water between the MIN and MAX indication, add 4-5 table spoons of salt (or 250ml of vinegar) and let the appliance heat up on the Serve Mode.
- Once the program is finished, pour out the water, wipe with a sponge or steel sponge.
Rinse the inside of the jug and the mixing bar and thoroughly dry. - ATTENTION: the knives are sharp!
Thoroughly dry all parts after cleaning and store in a dry well ventilated place.
Motor block
- NEVER immerse the motor block in water or any other liquid. Only clean with a damp cloth.
7. PRACTICAL TIPS IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
Do not use the appliance in case of a malfunction or when the power cord is damaged. Please address to your sales point.
If the cord is damaged, also address to your sales point.
THE APPLIANCE HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR DOMESTIC USE. THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS EXPIRE UPON PROFESSIONAL USE.
DEFECTS AND/OF DAMAGES FOLLOWING TO THE NON OBSERVANCE OF THE USER MANUAL ARE NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
We are entitled to make technical modifications at all times.
8. WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Your warranty starts on the day of purchase and is valid for 2 years and will only apply after submitting the purchasing invoice.
The user is responsible for cleaning and proper packaging of the defective appliance before presenting it for repair. It is insufficient to wrap the device in cardboard packaging with paper. Fritel is not liable for damage resulting from insufficient packaging, which also irrevocably invalidates the warranty.
Determination of the warranty
- The warranty covers every repair and/or replacement free of charge of the motor unit recognized defective by our technical department and if the damage is due to faulty manufacture, construction or material. The knives are not covered by the guarantee, as they are subject to wear and tear.
The warranty is only valid for the first/original user. - The transport costs, in case of reparation, are at the expenses of the purchaser.
- The warranty is only granted after presentation of your purchase invoice.
The warranty cannot be invoked for normal wear and tear.
The warranty expires in the following cases:
Incorrect connection, e.g. electric voltages.
- Abnormal or professional use or misuse handling.
In case of insufficient packaging and bad transport in case of return shipping.
- Lack of care and cleaning.
- Modifications or repairs made to the appliance by persons not authorized by us as a manufacturer.
- When reference numbers have been altered or been removed.
- For faults not due to the appliance itself, but to an external cause, collision, damage, fire, earthquake, flood, lightning, etc.
- When not respecting the instructions in the user instructions.
For appliances that are not under warranty for any of the above reasons, all costs (transport, administration, research, handling) will be charged.

9. ENVIRONMENT

Do not throw the appliance away with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this you will help to preserve the environment.
10. LIABILITIES
All liabilities, towards both consumer(s) and third parties, that could result from not observing all the safety regulations prescribed in this user manual, can under no circumstances be charged to the manufacturer. In case of non-observation of these safety regulations, the user of the appliance, or any other person not having observed these safety regulations, protects the manufacturer from all responsibilities that he could be charged with.
