Frequently Asked Questions - BL 4270 FRITEL

How to use the blender for the first time?
Remove all packaging and stickers. Clean the jug, lid and graduated cup with water without detergent. Dry thoroughly. Make sure the mains voltage matches that indicated on the appliance. Correctly mount the jug on the motor unit before use.
What to do if the blender does not start?
Check that the jug is correctly mounted on the motor unit (safety switch). Make sure the lid is properly in place. If the appliance has overheated, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool down. Also check that very hard pieces are not blocking the blades.
Can I blend hot liquids?
Yes, the BPA-free plastic jug supports hot liquids. However, fill the jug a little less than the maximum level to avoid overflowing. Never exceed the 2 liter capacity.
How to clean the blender?
Unplug the appliance. Clean the jug with water without detergent. The motor unit should be cleaned only with a dry cloth. The blades should be cleaned with a brush carefully. Tip: after use, pour a little warm water into the jug and run the blender for 10 seconds for easy cleaning.
What to do if the motor stops suddenly?
The blender is equipped with overheat protection. If the appliance has been used for too long, it stops automatically. Wait about 30 minutes (sometimes longer depending on ambient temperature) for the motor to cool down. Reduce the quantity or hardness of ingredients to prevent this from happening again.
Can I blend ice cubes?
Yes, use the 'ice crush' function to blend ice cubes. Make sure not to put pieces that are too large or too hard that could block the blades.
What is the maximum capacity of the jug?
The maximum capacity is 2 liters. Never exceed the maximum level indication on the jug to avoid overflowing.
How to use the pulse function?
First set the rotary knob to 'Program'. Then press the 'interval (pulse)' button for short bursts. Release to stop. Ideal for chopping or mixing without over-liquefying.
Is the appliance under warranty?
Yes, the legal warranty applies from the date of purchase. The duration and conditions depend on national legislation. For more details, visit www.fritel.com or contact your seller with proof of purchase.
