Instruction Manual Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you enjoy using the appliance. Symbols in these Instructions for Use Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged pur- pose. This appliance is not t for commercial use.

• The power adapter is only suitable for use in dry rooms.

• Check if the output current, voltage and the polarity of the power adapter match the information on the connected appliance!

• When cleaning if necessary disconnect the appliance from the power adapter.

• Ensure that the cable of the power adapter does not become kinked, jammed, driven over or come into contact with heat sources.

• Do not use a damaged power adapter.

• Do not repair the appliance yourself, but visit an authorized specialist.

• The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of dam- age. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.

• Use only original spare parts.

• In order to ensure your children’s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

• Turn the appliance off. Move the switch to the “ 0 “ position.

• Connect the power adapter connector with one of the following jacks. - The socket directly at the bottom end of the appliance. - Alternatively place the appliance in the charging station. The socket is at the rear.

• Plug the power adapter into wall outlet.

• The indicator light remains red during the charging process.

• Charge the appliance before rst use for 12 hours. NOTE:

• The charge indicator does not indicate the state of charge of the rechargeable battery.

• Mere mains operation is not possible.

• After initial use, do not charge the battery for longer than 12 hours at one time. CAUTION: After 12 hours always disconnect from mains power supply.PC-BHT3015_IM 06.11.17

NOTE of lifetime rechargeable battery You can extent the lifetime of the rechargeable battery by following these steps:

• Only charge after the battery is nearly exhausted.

• Do not charge for more than 12 hours.

• Charge the appliance at temperatures between 0 ° and + 40 °C. Using the Appliance Switching On and Off Slide the switch (3) to turn the appliance on or off. Putting On and Taking Off the Attachments

Always switch the appliance off before you t attachments or accessories!

• You can take off an attachment by turning it anticlockwise and pulling it off.

• To put the comb attachment (10) onto the beard / hair trimmer (9), do the follow- ing: Slide the blades of the shaving head into the spikes of the comb attachment. Press the attachment onto the shaving head tightly. It must audibly clicks into place.

• To remove the comb attachment, press the catch lock until it disengages.

• To attach the long hair attachment (11) to the body hair trimmer (1), align the small catch with the slot on the body hair trimmer. Push the attachment down until it clicks into place.

• To remove the long hair attachment, press one of the outer tines up. CAUTION: Do not press the middle tines up. They could bend or break off. Cut Hair and Beard

Do not press the clipper head of the beard / hair trimmer too rmly onto the skin. NOTE: Only cut dry hair with this appliance.PC-BHT3015_IM 06.11.17

1. Put the beard / hair trimmer onto the appliance.

2. Fasten the comb attachment. Select a cutting length.

• To select the cutting lengths, press and push the lock button on the top side of the comb attachment.

• The length settings are marked to the left of the lock button.

3. Switch the appliance on.

4. Begin with the longest cutting setting and cut

your hair in stages to the desired length.

5. Switch the appliance off before you remove the comb attachment from the trimmer.

Outlining and Shaving the Neck

• Use the beard / hair trimmer without the comb attachment and turn the appliance around.

• The shaving head allows for precisely outlining the beard contours, as well as a clean shaving of the hair line at the neck.

• In places that are difcult to reach you can use the precision trimmer. Precision Trimmer (7) Use the precision trimmer if you want to cut precise contours. It is especially suitable for use on the upper lip, the eyebrows, and along the jaw. Using the Shaver Attachment The shaver attachment has been specically designed for close shaving on the beard, moustache and sideburns.

1. Attach the shaver attachment (5) to the appliance.

2. Switch the appliance on.

3. Hold the appliance in such a way that the shaver attachment makes light contact

with the face at a 45 degree angle. Removing Nasal Hair / Ear Hair

WARNING: Risk of injury!

• Only remove hair protruding from the nostril / ear lobe.

• Never push the appliance into the nostril / ear lobe using force. You can hurt yourself when the shaving head is inserted too deep!PC-BHT3015_IM 06.11.17

1. Attach the nose hair / ear hair trimmer to the appliance.

2. Switch the appliance on.

3. Carefully insert the tip of the shaver head into the nostril or ear lobe and remove

it again. Trimming Body Hair

WARNING: Risk of injury!

• Remove only body hair lower than the neck with this attachment.

• Be particularly careful when trimming around moles!

• In the case of eczema, inamed skin reactions or wounds, we recommend that you refrain from shaving body hair until the symptoms have faded away.

• Only lightly press the blade of the body hair trimmer onto the skin! Practical tips for optimum trimmer results:

• Trimming is the easiest with dry skin and dry hair. Do not use shaving foam or gel.

• Before using the appliance, do not use any skin care products.

• Comb the hair in the direction that it grows.

• Hair longer than 10 mm should be shortened rst. This makes shaving them off afterwards easier.

5. Move the trimmer slowly and against the growing direction through your hair.

6. If too many hairs are in the long hair attachment, turn the appliance off. Take off

the long hair attachment. Remove the hairs with the cleaning brush.

7. To shorten the hair completely, use the body hair trimmer without the long hair

• Turn off the appliance and disconnect the power adapter from the mains supply when cleaning.

• Do not submerge the appliance in water!

• Do not immerse the power adapter in water! CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasives.

• Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

• The shaving foils of the body hair trimmer and the razor may not be cleaned with the cleaning brush.

• Use the cleaning brush to remove remaining hair after use.

• Clean the casing with a slightly damp cloth, if necessary.

• Always clean the power adapter with a dry cloth. Attachments

• Remove the attachments.

• Clean the attachments under warm running water using the provided cleaning brush.

• The shaving head of the body hair trimmer can be removed for better cleaning. When putting on the shaving head again, it audibly clicks into place.

• The shaving head of the shaver attachment can be removed. Hold the housing and pull off the shaving head carefully.

• Rinse the shaving head under warm running water.

• Clean the shaving blades with the cleaning brush.

• Then re-attach the shaving head to the shaver attachment. It must click into place on both sides. Pay attention to the shape of the housing.

• Regularly apply 1 - 2 drops of non-resinous and acid-free oil to the shaving blades of the attachments (1, 5, 7). Storage

• Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry.

• We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if it will not be used for long periods.

• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place.
