• This appliance is only for trimming beard or body hair, nose or ear hair, contours or eyebrows. Do not use the appliance for any other purposes.
• The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
• Keep the appliance away from heat, direct sunlight and moisture.

• Turn the appliance off when not in use, for cleaning or in case of failure.

• Do not operate a damaged appliance.

• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician.
• Use only original spare parts.
• In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.

• Do not use the appliance if the shaving head, the shaving blade or the blade support on an attachment is deformed or damaged!
• In the case of eczema, inflamed skin reactions or wounds, we recommend that you refrain from shaving body hair until the symptoms have faded away.

Inserting the Battery

(Battery not included in scope of delivery)

1. Make sure the appliance is switched off: The switch shows OFF.

2. Note the symbols at the bottom of the appliance. Open the battery compartment by turning the cover towards the symbol and then remove it.

3. The correct polarity is shown in the battery compartment. Insert a AA / LR6 / UM3 type battery with the positive pole (+) towards the attachment.

4. Close the battery compartment. Align the ▲marking with the symbol. Then turn the cover towards 🔒 The cover must snap into place.

Using the Appliance

Turning On/Off the Appliance

Slide the switch to turn the appliance on or off.

Installing and Removing Attachments

WARNING:

Always turn off the appliance before removing or installing attachments!

• You can take off an attachment by turning it anticlockwise and pulling it off.
• When mounting the accessories, note the guide on the appliance and the cut-outs on the attachments. The attachments can only be placed in a certain position. Tighten the attachment by turning it to the left until it clicks into place.
• To put on a comb attachment for the beard and body trimmer, proceed as follows: Slide a blade of the shaving head into the prongs of a comb attachment. Press the comb attachment firmly onto the shaving head. It must audibly snap in.
• To release the comb attachment, push an outer prong upwards.

CAUTION:

Do not press the middle tines up. They could bend or break off.

Shaving / Trimming of Beard or Body Hair

• Use the attachment with the two-sided shaving blade.
• Hair longer than 10 mm should be shortened first. This makes shaving them off afterwards easier.
• If you would like to shorten the beard or body hair evenly, place a comb attachment onto the shaving head. The comb attachments are marked with the cutting lengths.

i NOTE:

Start with the largest comb attachment and gradually shorten your beard or body hair to the desired length.

Trimming Outlines or Eyebrows

• Use the multifunctional attachment with the vertical shaving head.
• For an even cut length, put on the comb attachment.
• Apply the shaving blade on an area where you want to remove hair. Use one hand to pull the skin so that it becomes firm. Carefully move the shaving blade against the direction of hair growth.

Removing Nose and Ear Hair

Use the multifunctional attachment with the vertical shaving head.

WARNING: Risk of Injury!

• Do not insert the shaving head too deep into the nostril / outer ear.
• Only remove hair protruding from the nostril / ear lobe.

Stop Operation

Shut off the appliance after use by sliding the switch downwards. The switch shows OFF.

Cleaning

CAUTION:

• Do not immerse the appliance in water. This could destroy the electronics.

• Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

• Switch off the appliance before cleaning. Remove the battery.

• You may wipe the housing of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.

Attachments

• Remove hair residue after each use with the cleaning brush.
• For cleaning under running, warm water, remove the attachments from the appliance.
• Allow the attachments to dry before putting them back on the appliance.
• Regularly apply 1 - 2 drops of non-resinous and acid-free oil to the shaving blades of the attachments.

Storage

• Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry.
• We recommend that you keep the appliance in the original packaging if it will not be used for long periods.
• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a dry, well ventilated place.
