Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
- Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
- If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance

Read the instructions!

Do not use power supply with damaged plug! If the pins of the plug part are damaged, the plug-in power supply shall be scrapped. Read the instruction manual for the power supply unit you have selected before use.

WARNING of Electric Shock:
- Keep the appliance dry.
- Do not charge the appliance near bathtubs, shower trays or other vessels containing water.
- If the appliance does fall into water, first unplug the power supply unit from the wall socket.
- Charge the appliance in a cool, dry place.
WARNING of Electric Shock:
- Do not replace any parts. Do not make any modifications.
WARNING: Risk of Injury!
- Do not press the shaver head of the shaver too hard on the skin.
- Do not use the appliance if the shaving head is damaged.
- Never remove an attachment during operation!
CAUTION:
- Choose the place for charging so that the appliance is not exposed to direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
- Only use the USB-A to USB-C charging cable included in the scope of delivery. Other charging cables may not work. Use a suitable power supply unit with a USB-A connection to charge the appliance.
- Do not charge the rechargeable battery unattended.
• Always unplug the power supply unit from the wall socket after charging. - Never operate the appliance with the power supply unit connected.
Notes for Use
- Only trim main or beard hair with the appliance.
- Only cut dry hair with the appliance.
- Start with the longest setting and trim your main hair / beard hair gradually to the desired length.
- You can reach the smallest setting "0.5 mm" by removing the comb attachment.
Meaning of the Symbols

| To unlock, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. |
Charging the Rechargeable Battery
- Switch the appliance off.
- Connect the supplied charging cable to the charging socket. Then connect the charging cable with a power supply unit.
- Connect the power supply unit to a socket.
- Mains-only operation is not possible.
- Charge the appliance for approx. 5 hours before using it for the first time.
- During the charging process, the LED display (4) displays the current charge status of the rechargeable battery in per cent.
- The battery and mains adapter symbol are also displayed.
- Stop all further charging after reaching 100 per cent or after 3 hours at the latest.
- Always unplug the power supply unit from the socket after approx. 3 hours of charging.
Using the Appliance
Switching On and Off
Press the ⏻ button to switch the appliance on or off.
Locking/Unlocking the Appliance
Press and hold the ⏻ button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the appliance.
Setting the Cutting Length
- Switch the appliance off.
- Select a comb attachment (6). The comb attachments are labelled with the cutting length.
- Fit the comb attachment, also refer to illustration A on page 3. You should hear it click into place.
- To remove the comb attachment, pull the comb attachment upwards.
Cutting Hair and Trimming Beard
- Select a cutting length (1 – 10 mm or 11 – 20 mm depending on the comb attachment).
- Switch the appliance on.
- The LED display (4) shows the current charge status of the rechargeable battery in per cent.
Trimming Contours and Shaving out the Neck
The shaving head (1) enables precise contouring of the beard, even in hard-to-reach areas, as well as clean shaving of the hairline in the neck area.
- Switch the appliance off.
- Remove the comb attachment (6) and switch the appliance back on.
- Shave the desired areas directly with the shaving head (without the comb attachment).
End Operation
Press the ⏻ button to switch the appliance off.
Cleaning

WARNING:
- Switch off the appliance before cleaning. Unplug the power supply unit from the socket.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water!

CAUTION:
- Do not clean the appliance under running water! The electronics could be damaged.
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.

Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

Regular cleaning and maintenance guarantee optimum results and a long service life.
- Remove hair residues after each use with the cleaning brush. To do this, pull off the comb attachment (6).
- Clean the outside of the appliance if necessary with a slightly damp cloth.
Removing / Attaching the Shaving Head
The shaving head is locked into the housing. Please also refer to illustration B on page 3.
- Press the shaving surface backwards with one thumb to release the catch.
- After cleaning, insert the shaving head into the housing with the catch first. Press the shaving surface against the housing until you hear it click into place.

Important Care Advice
To maintain the cutting performance of the shaving head for a long time, regularly apply 1 – 2 drops of acid-free / resin-free oil, such as shaving head oil, sewing machine oil or precision mechanics oil to the shaving head. This lubrication keeps the shaving head running smoothly and prevents the blades from becoming blunt.
Storage
- Clean the appliance as described.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
- The storage temperature should be between 10^ and 20^ .
- We recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
- Rechargeable battery lifespan: Even when switched off, the rechargeable battery is constantly discharging. If you do not use the appliance for a longer period of time, charge the rechargeable battery at least every 4 to 6 weeks.
