How to connect a condenser microphone to the VIBZ 6?
Connect the microphone to an XLR input (channel 1 or 2). Set the Gain knob to minimum, then activate the +48V phantom power (selector #37). Then gradually increase the gain until the Peak LED flashes occasionally.
How to use the built-in multi-effects (model LDVIBZ6D)?
Select a preset with the DFX Presets selector (#18). Adjust the effect return level with the DFX to Main knob (#19). For each channel, turn the DFX knob (#7 or 14) to send signal to the effect.
Can I connect a keyboard or electric guitar?
Yes, connect a keyboard to the stereo line inputs (channels 3/4 or 5/6) using 6.35 mm jack cables. For an unbalanced guitar, use channel 1 or 2 with a jack input, and adjust the Gain and EQ as needed.
How to avoid distortion on channels?
Set the Gain (channels 1-2) or source level (channels 3/4-5/6) so that the Peak LED only lights up occasionally. If it stays on continuously, reduce the gain or input level.
How to record the mix to a computer?
Connect the 2TK OUT (RCA) to the line input of your computer or recorder. Use the MAIN MIX knob (#34) to adjust the overall level.
What to do if the sound is too low or absent?
Check that all cables are properly connected. Ensure the channel Level knobs and MAIN MIX are not at minimum. Verify the 2 TK IN TO MAIN/CTRL button is in the correct position. If using a condenser microphone, activate +48V phantom power.
Can I mount the mixer on a microphone stand?
Yes, the bottom has a threaded insert. Use the optional LDVIBZMSADAPTOR adapter to attach it to a standard microphone stand.
How to reset the equalizer?
Turn each EQ knob to the center detent. At this position, the EQ is inactive (no signal modification).
What fuse to use if replacement is needed?
Only replace the fuse with an identical model in type and rating. If the fuse blows repeatedly, contact an authorized repair center.
How to clean the mixing console?
Disconnect the device. Use a dry cloth to wipe the surface. Never use liquid or chemical products. Avoid water or objects entering inside.
