Information About the Operating Instructions
Before using the device for the first time, please read through these operating instructions carefully and keep them for future reference and other users. They form an integral part of the device. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.

INTENDED USE
The device is used to remove light dirt on upholstery and rugs and to freshen up upholstery, e.g. sofas and car seats, and small rugs, e.g. entrance rugs and floor mats. It is not a substitute for a conventional vacuum cleaner. Before the device is used, the upholstery or rug which is to be treated should be thoroughly cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
■ The device is only designed for targeted use.
■ The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
■ The device should only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
- glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
- inflammable or explosive substances
- very fine dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash or toner
- pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass
■ The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear.
SAFETY NOTICES

WARNING: Note all safety notices, instructions, illustrations and technical data provided with this device. Failure to follow the safety notices and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and / or injuries.
This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply with the relevant safety precautions.
■ Children must not play with the device.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.

■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, filling or emptying the water tank and before cleaning.
■ Never immerse the motor unit and the connecting cable in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
■ Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the tanks!
- Do not make any modifications to the device. Also do not replace the connecting cable yourself. If the device, the connecting cable or the accessories of the device are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a specialist workshop in order to avoid any hazards.

DANGER
– Danger of Electric Shock
■ Use and store the device only in closed rooms.
■ Do not use or store the device in rooms with high humidity.
If the motor unit falls into water while it is connected to the mains power, switch off the power supply immediately! Only after this should you pull the motor unit from the water.
■ Never touch the motor unit and the connecting cable with wet hands when they are connected to the mains power.

WARNING – Danger of Fire!
- Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fire. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that they do not become clogged.

WARNING
- Danger of Injury!
- Keep the packaging material away from children and animals. There is a danger of suffocation.
■ Make sure that the connecting cable is always kept out of the reach of small children and animals. There is a danger of strangulation.
■ Lay the connecting cable in such a way that it does not present a trip hazard. - Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fingers and all other body parts away from the suction opening and the nozzles of the device. They could become stuck. Should the device become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■ Do not use the device if there is visible damage to the device or to the component parts of the device.
In the event of damage / faults, switch the device off immediately.
■ The device should only be used if it has been fully and correctly assembled! The tanks and filters must be inserted and must not be damaged! If dirt were to get inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.
- Do not place heavy objects on the device and the component parts of the device.
■ Make sure that the connecting cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■ When you pull the mains plug out of the plug socket, always pull on the mains plug and never the mains cable!
■ Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible damage.
■ Store only in closed rooms.
■ Use and store the device at room temperature, do not expose it to extreme temperatures or temperature fluctuations.
■ Protect the device from heat sources, flames, persistent moisture and impacts.
■ Make sure that the device does not tip over so that no water can run out of the tanks.
ATTACHING AND DETACHING ACCESSORIES
Handle Holder
The handle holder (10) can be used to place the handle (6) of the hose when the device is not being used.

The handle holder must be attached to the device before it is first used.
- Attaching: Slide the handle holder from above into the fixture on the front of the device (Picture B). Wind the suction hose clockwise around the device so that the handle can be placed in it.
- Detaching: Unwind the suction hose anticlockwise from the device. Pull the handle holder up out of the fixture.
Dirty Water Tank
- Attaching: Insert the dirty water tank (16) via the guide rail into the mount for the dirty water tank (15). You must hear and feel the locking catch (18) engage.
- Detaching: Pull the locking catch away from the device to release the locking lug.
- Opening and closing: To open it, lift up the closure tab (17) on the side and take off the lid. When you place on the lid, make sure that the locking lugs of the lid engage in the recesses on the water tank and you feel and hear the closure tab lock in place.

Fresh Water Tank

Before the device is used, the water tank cap must be attached to the bottom of the fresh water tank.
- Attaching: Insert the fresh water tank (13) via the guide rail into the mount for the fresh water tank (3). You must hear and feel the locking catch (14) engage.
- Detaching: Pull the locking catch away from the device to release the locking lug (Picture C).
- Opening and closing: To open it, unscrew and remove the cap (11) on the bottom of the fresh water tank. To close the fresh water tank, place on the cap and screw it on tight.
Nozzles
The nozzle with brushes (12) is suitable for cleaning rugs. The transparent cover can be removed to clean the nozzle. The nozzle (9) is suitable for cleaning upholstery such as sofas, armchairs, car seats etc.
- Attaching: Slide the nozzle onto the handle (6). When you do this, make sure that the nozzle and handle are correctly above one another so that the locking button (7) can engage.
- Detaching: Press the locking button on the top of the handle firmly and pull the nozzle off the suction hose.
- Detaching and attaching the cover of the nozzle with brushes (12): Lift up the tab on the top of the nozzle to detach the cover. When you attach it, make sure that you hear and feel the tab engage.
FILLING THE FRESH WATER TANK
Please Note!
■ The feed opening is located on the bottom of the fresh water tank.
■ Only use non-foaming cleaning products.
- Do not pour cleaning agent into the fresh water tank, but instead spray it directly onto the surface to be cleaned if necessary.
- Remove the fresh water tank (13) from the device to fill it, turn it with the opening facing upwards and open it (see the "Attaching and Detaching Accessories" chapter – "Fresh Water Tank").
- Fill the fresh water tank with clean water (max. 40°C). Note the MAX marking. Do not overfill the fresh water tank!
- Close and reinsert the fresh water tank.
USE
Please Note!
■ Only connect the mains plug to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
■ Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device.
Note the MAX marking on the dirty water tank and do not exceed it to prevent the motor from being overloaded (see the "Cleaning the Device" chapter – "Dirty Water Tank").

■ Empty the dirty water tank regularly, but whenever the MAX mark is reached.
■ Place the device on a waterproof surface.
■ Clean the filters regularly to prevent the motor from being overloaded. Replace if necessary.

If you use the device with cleaning products, there may be some foaming beneath the device. This does not constitute a defect and is harmless.
- To attach the required accessory, follow the instructions in the "Attaching and Detaching Accessories" chapter.
- Make sure that the fresh water tank (13) is filled (see the "Filling the Fresh Water Tank" chapter) and both tanks are inserted in the motor unit (4).

If there is a lot of dirt, first spray cleaning agent onto the surface to be cleaned and spread it around with a brush if necessary. It is essential to follow the instructions on the bottle of the cleaning agent.
-
Fully unwind the connecting cable and plug the mains plug into a plug socket.
-
Press the Ⓑ button (2) to switch on the device.
-
Press the spray button (8) on the bottom of the handle and spray onto the surface to be cleaned.
-
Pull the nozzle opening with gentle pressure over the surface to be cleaned. The dirty water is sucked up and collected in the dirty water tank (16).
-
When the fresh water tank is empty or the dirty water tank is full, press the button to switch off the device. Only after this should you fill or empty the appropriate tank (see the "Cleaning the Device" chapter – "Dirty Water Tank").

Place the nozzle on a cloth as residual water may escape after it has been switched off.
- After it has been used, empty the fresh water tank and reinsert it in the device. Switch on the device again and press the spray button to remove excess water from the device (Picture D).
- Press the button to switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
- After every use, fully empty and clean the tanks (see the "Cleaning the Device" chapter).
CLEANING THE DEVICE
Please Note!
■ Make sure that no liquid gets into the motor unit of the device during cleaning.
■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device and accessories.
- Wipe down the motor unit (4) if necessary with a damp soft cloth. Then dry with a cloth.
- The filters are located in the motor unit beneath the dirty water tank (Picture E) and beneath the fresh water tank (Picture F). They can be removed for cleaning and rinsed through with clear water. Then allow them to dry in the air.
Dirty Water Tank
-
Detach the dirty water tank (16) from the motor unit (4) and open it (see the "Attaching and Detaching Accessories" chapter – "Dirty Water Tank").

Empty the water into a drain.

- To clean it, thoroughly rinse the dirty water tank and the lid with clear water.
- Allow all parts to dry open in the air before you reassemble them.
Fresh Water Tank
- Detach the fresh water tank (13) and open it (see the "Attaching and Detaching Accessories" chapter – "Fresh Water Tank").
- Fully empty the fresh water tank.
- Allow all parts to dry open in the air before you reassemble them.
Nozzles
- Remove hair and fluff from the brush.
- Detach the cover of the nozzle with brushes (12) (see the "Attaching and Detaching Accessories" chapter – "Nozzles").
- The two nozzles (9, 12) and the cover of the brush nozzle can be rinsed with clear water.
- Allow all parts to dry in the air.
Hose
The suction hose with handle should be rinsed regularly to remove residues of the cleaning agent:
- Connect possible accessories (see the "Attaching and Detaching Accessories" chapter)
- Pour clear water into a vessel and suck up the water from the vessel (see the "Use" chapter).
- Dismantle all accessories and allow them to dry in the air.
STORAGE
- Wrap the suction hose (5) around the device and place the handle (6) in the handle holder (10).
- The nozzle or the nozzle with brushes can be plugged onto the nozzle holder (19) for storage.
- Store the device and all accessories in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out of the reach of children and animals.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer service department.

Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
The device does not start.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug socket correctly.
▶ Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
▶ Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
▶ Check the fuse of the electrical distributor (fuse box).
The overheating protection has been triggered.
▶ Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the device to cool down completely. Then try again.
The performance is too weak.
The dirty water tank (16) is too full.
▶ Empty the dirty water tank.
The suction opening / nozzle is blocked.
▶ Switch off the device and remove the blockage.
The dirty water is not properly sucked up.
The dirty water tank (16) is full.
▶ Empty the dirty water tank.
The suction opening / nozzle is blocked.
▶ Switch off the device and remove the blockage.
No water is emerging from the nozzles.
The spray button (8) has not been pressed.
▶ Press the spray button on the handle to activate the spray function.
The fresh water tank (13) is empty.
▶ Fill the fresh water tank.
The suction hose with handle has not been correctly attached / connected to the nozzles.
▶ Check and correct all connections where necessary.
The nozzles are blocked.
▶ Switch off the device and remove the blockage.
A strange odour is produced.
The device is being used for the first time.
▶ A new odour is normal when the device is used for the first time; it disappears after a while.
DISPOSAL


Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
The adjacent symbol (crossed-out bin underlined) means that used devices should not be disposed of in the domestic waste, but should instead be taken to special collection and return systems.
Owners of used devices from private households can take them free of charge to the collection points of the public waste disposal authorities or the disposal points which are set up by manufacturers and distributors under the Electrical Equipment Act. Businesses which market electrical and electronic devices are also obliged to take back used devices.
