How to install the feet on the Vollrath JT3H toaster?

Place the toaster on its side, turn the bottom toward you, then install the feet. The feet are essential to allow sufficient air circulation and prevent overheating.

How to adjust the heat screen on the JT3H?

After cooling, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw on the heat screen. Grasp the screen and raise or lower it to adjust the opening according to product thickness. Tighten the screw.

What to do if the toaster does not heat and the conveyor belt does not move?

First check that the appliance is plugged in and the power button is in the On (I) position. Inspect the circuit breaker. If the reset button has tripped, wait 30 minutes for the appliance to cool, remove any obstruction, then press the reset button. If the problem persists, contact Vollrath technical support.

How to clean the Vollrath JT3H toaster?

Let the appliance cool completely. Use a brush or scouring pad to remove food particles from the conveyor belt. For the exterior, use a soft cloth dipped in warm soapy water. Never spray water or cleaning products. Empty and clean the crumb trays.

Can you toast bagels or frozen products?

For bagels, place them cut side up on the feed ramp. Frozen products must be thawed before toasting. Use a low conveyor speed for very moist products.

How to toast bread on one side only?

Turn the TOP thermostat to the desired setting and the BOTTOM thermostat to the Off position. This allows toasting only the top side.

What to do if a product gets stuck in the toaster?

Turn the power button to Off (O) and unplug the appliance. Let it cool completely then use tongs to remove the stuck product. Be careful not to knock the heating elements.

What is the warranty for the Vollrath JT3H toaster?

SETUP

1. Install the collection pan by placing the backed edge of the pan on the lip at the back of the toaster. Line up the hole in the pan with the screw. Tightenthescrewtose secure the collection pan.

1. Whentheequipmentiscooltothetouch, useascrewdriverto loosenthescrewontheheatshield.
2. Grasptheshieldandpullitupordowntoadjusttheopeningsothe tallestproductscanpassthrough.Re-tightenthescrew.

Preheat

Plugthetoasterintoagroundedelectricaloutletthatmatchestherating onthenameplatefoundonthesideofthetoaster.
