Donotpacethetoasteradjacenttoaheatproducingappliance.

SETUP

InstalltheCollectionPan

1. Placethetoasteronahard,flat,stablesurface.
   2.Turnthetoasteronit'ssideswiththebottomfacingyou.
   3.Installthecollectionpanbyplacingthebackedgeofthepanonthe lipatthebackofthetoaster.Lineuptheholeinthepanwith the screw.Tightentheshcrewtosecurethecollectionpan.

InstalltheFeedRamp

1. Positionthetraysothatheopeninglinesupwiththestuds.

2.Restrayonstudsindesiredlocation.

OPERATION

Thistoastershipssetuptotoastbread.Totoastsandwiches,seeSee "ConverttAPassthroughToaster"onpage4.

CAUTION

BurnHazard

Don't touch the equipment while it is heating or operating.
Hot surfaces can burn skin.

NOTICE: The crumbtray must be installed in the toaster during operation. Failure to install the crumbtray will cause the toaster too overheat.

AdjusttheHeatShield

Excessspaceabovetheproductwillcreateheatlossandmayreduce performance.

1. Whenthe equipment is cool to the touch, usescrewdriver to loosenthescrewontheheatshield.
   2.Grasptheshieldandpullitupordowntadjusttheopeningsoth tallestproductscanpassthrough.Re-tightenthescrew.

Preheat

1. Plugthetoasterintoagroundedelectricaloutletthatmatchesthe ratingonthenameplatefoundonthesideofthetoaster. NOTICE:Usingavoltageotherthannameplateratedvoltage willcausedamagetotheunit.Incorrectvoltage, modificationtothepowercordorelectricalcomponents candamageunitandwillvoidthewarranty.

2.Rotatethepowerknob(s)tothefullpowerposition(I).
3.Settheconveyorspeedcontrolknob(s)to7.
4.Rotatethetopandbottomheatcontrolknobstohigh.
5.Wait5minutesforthetoastertopreheat.

Test

1. Adjust the settings for the product to be coated.

Tips

Bagels, wheatyebreaker productswithhighmoisture content.	Useaslowerconveyorspeed.

2.Testthesettingsbyplacingasampleofthefoodtobetastedonto thefeedramp. Placebagelsorbunsontothefeedrampwiththecut sidefacingup.

ToastBreaderSandwiches

1. Adjust the top and bottom heat control settings and conveyoras needed foreventoasting. Allow time for the toasteroadjusttonew heatsettingsbefore replacing breadorsandwichesontheconveyor.
   2.Forbestperformancedonotoverloadthetoaster.Waitafew secondsbeforeloadingasecondrowofbreadersandwichesinto thetoaster.

IfanItemBecomesStuck

1.RotatethepowerknobtotheOFFposition(O)andunplug the equipment.
2.Lettheequipmentcoolcompletely.Usetongstoremovetheitem. Takecaretonotbumptheheatingelementsaboveandbelow the conveyor.

CONVERTTOAPASSTHROUGHTOASTER

1. Positionthetoastersoyouhaveaccessstotheunloadtray/back panel.

3.Notetethabsontheundersideofthebackpanel.Clipthetabsover thetwometalpinsundertheedgesofthepanel.

2.Lifttheunloadtraystraightupandtiltoutwardasshownbelow.

4.Droptheunloadtrayintothehorizontalposition.

2. Whenthefooddebrisreachesthefrontoftheconveyor, rotatethe powerknobtotheOFFposition.
   3.Waitforthefantostoprunning.Unplugthecquipment.
   4.Lettheequipmentcoolcompletely.
3. Whenthe equipment is cool, use abrushors scrubpadtotremovethe fooddebris.

Whenunderwarranty,repairisavailablefothisproduct.Tobegintheprocess:

1. Contact Vollrath Technical Services at 1-800-309-2250. Please be ready with the item number, model number and serial number. You can find this information on the nameplate located on the side or back of the equipment. Also please provide a proof of purchase indicating the date the equipment was purchased.
2. Atechnical services representative will help you troubleshoot the problem over the phone.
3. If the representative determines the issue requires professional service, he or she will help you locate an authorized service center.
4. Contact the authorized service center to make arrangements for the repair. Vollrath will cover the cost to repair and/or replace defective parts within the equipment warranty period.
