1. The appliance can be used

by children age 8 and up and by persons with limited physical, sensory or men- tal abilities or with lack of experience or limited know- ledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed how to use appliance safely and have understood the dan- gers associated with using the product. The appliance is not a toy. Children may clean and care for the appli- ance only under supervision.

Children should be super- vised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

4. Only switch the appliance

on when it has been properly assembled.

6. Do not use the appliance

24. To avoid damage, do not use

the appliance with accesso- ries of other manufacturers or brands.

Pull the mains plug out of the socket after use, as well as before cleaning. Never leave the appliance unat- tended if the mains plug is plugged in. Never stick objects such as fingers, needles, pins, etc. through the basket grille into the interior of the appliance - danger of injury! Only operate the appliance on a level, stable substrate, so that it does not tip over. The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties. 1. Before assembling, ensure that

you are assembling the appliance on a level, dry, place.

2. Remove all packaging materials

and transport safeguards. Keep the packaging material, such as plastic bags or Styrofoam away from small children - danger of suffocation!

4. Pull the supply line of the motor

housing through the opening in the base.

5. Fix the base and motor housing in

place by firmly turning the motor housing clockwise, until the motor housing audibly locks in place (tab on the motor housing and recess must be properly fitted into each other).

6. Remove guard lock nut from the

motor shaft spindle.

7. Fasten the rear basket cover by

fixing the cover in place with the nut.

8. Place the impeller on the axle on

the motor housing. Check whe- ther the fan blades move freely. Fix the impeller in place with the fastening ring (turn counter- clockwise).

9. Connect the front basket cover to

the rear basket cover. Ensure that the holes for the fastening screw at the bottom of the basket covers one above the other. Fix the bas- ket covers in place with the screw.

10. Check whether all parts have been

correctly assembled and fixed in place. OPERATION

1. Ensure that the appliance is stan-

ding on a suitable, level subst- rate, and has been set up so that it is safe and stable.

2. Plug the mains plug of the appli-

ance into an electrical outlet (230 V~, 50 Hz).

3. If moving the fan to a different

2. Wipe off the base, and grille of

the fan with a slightly damp cloth.

3. Store the fan in a dry, safe place

so that it is protected from dust, shocks, heat and moisture.

Our appliances are produced on a high quality level for a long lifetime. Regular maintenance and expert repairs by our after-sales service can extend the useful life of the appliance. If an appliance is defective and repair is not possible we ask you to follow the following instructions for disposal. Do not dispose this appliance together with your standard household waste. Please bring this product to an approved collection point for recycling of electric and electronic products. By separate collection and disposal of waste products you help to protect natural resources and ensure, that the product is disposed in an adequate way to protect health and environment. GUARANTEE CONDITIONS We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the date of purchase for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been used according to its intended use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the re- sponsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
