Children should be kept away from the product at all times.
This device is not a toy and should not be played by children. Children are not able to understand the dangers that can occur when handling this device.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

WARNING! DANGER TO
LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed, which may represent a danger to life. If a battery has been swallowed, medical help is required immediately.
- Do not use the device if it is damaged.
Use the device only in enclosed rooms. It is not suitable for use outdoors. - Keep the product away from
water or moisture. Otherwise damage to property may occur.

SafetyInstructions for Batteries
Remove the batteries from the device if they have not been used for a long period.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The batteries
must never be recharged!
When inserting the batteries, ensure the correct polarity! This is shown in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the batteries and device contacts before inserting the batteries.
Always replace all batteries at
the same time and only use batteries of the same type.
- Do not use different types of batteries or mix used and new batteries together.
Remove spent batteries immediately from the device. There is an increased danger of leaks!
If the above instructions are not complied with, the batteries may discharge themselves beyond their end voltage. There is then a danger of leaking. If the batteries have leaked inside your device, you should remove them immediately in order to prevent damage to the device!
Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste!
Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries in the
proper manner!
- Keep batteries away from children; do not throw them in the fire, short-circuit them or take them apart.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Any parts of the body coming into contact with battery acid should be rinsed off with copious amounts of water and / or a doctor contacted if necessary!
Bringinginto operation
- Inserting/replacing batteries
- Open the battery compartment 3 on the back of the device.
Remove the used batteries, if present.
Insert 3 batteries type 1.5 ~V = AAA (Z31603) / 4 batteries type 1.5 ~V = AA (Z30425B) into the battery compartment 3.
Note: Make sure you fit the batteries the right way round (polarity). The correct polarity is shown inside the battery compartment 3.
Close the battery compartment 3.
- Connecting the adapter
You can also operate Z30425B using an adapter (not included): Input voltage: 230 ~V 50 ~Hz Output voltage: 7.5 ~V =
- Connect the adapter to the device and insert the mains adapter into the mains socket. The device is now ready for use.
Operation
- Setting the sound sensor light
Set the SOUND/OFF/AUTO switch 2 to SOUND. The LED lights illuminate in reaction to the rhythm of the music and in response to other noises.
Note: The louder the music, the more LED-lamps are shining.
Automaticlighting effects in different patterns
Set the SOUND/OFF/AUTO switch 2 to AUTO. The LED lights illuminate automatically in a preset pattern.
- Setting the sensitivity of the sensor
Turn the rotary control 1 to set the sensitivity of the sensor.
If the soundscape changes, turn the rotary control 1 to achieve the best light effect.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Under no circumstances should you use liquids or detergents, as these will damage the device.
The device should only be cleaned on the outside with a soft dry cloth.
Remove the batteries if the sound sensor is not being used.
Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC. Please return the batteries and / or the device to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of the batteries!
Batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty
The device has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this device show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it - at our choice - free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the device has been damaged or improperly used or maintained.
The warranty applies to faults in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
