-
Follow all of the assembly instructions listed here.
-
First read through the assembly instructions completely.
- Allow yourself enough time for assembly and find an even working space of two to three square meters.
- Small parts such as handles will probably be preassembled.
- If the device is used as a table BBQ, the stand foot does not have to be assembled.
Assembling the BBQ
Unpack the BBQ and dispose of all packaging materials. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children and dispose of them according to regulations after BBQ assembly.

Insert the 5 stand feet (12A) into the stand foot basis (12B). The feet must engage audibly.

Connect the parts using the screws (17) and washers (16).

Screw in the screw (a) up to half the length into the upper end of the bottom stand tube (11).
Place the decorative ring (10) between the upper (9) and bottom (11) stand tubes.
Screw both tubes using the screw (a) firmly together.

Insert the bottom end of the stand tube (11) into the stand foot base (12).

Screw in the screw (b) into the stand tube (9) at the level, where the cooling tray (8) should be placed.
Put the upper end of the stand tube (9) through the cooling tray (8).

Put the grill holder (7) onto the upper end of the stand tube (9).
The grill stand is now assembled.
Please note: The grill can also be used without this stand as a table-top grill.

Place the grill (13) on the grill holder (7).
Make sure that the grill is lying flush on the grill holder.

Fasten the wind/spray deflector (2).

Place the drip pan (14) in the grill (13).

Fasten the warming rack (1) to the wind/ spray deflector (2).

Insert the grill plate (3) into the grill.

Insert the on/off switch and temperature control (4) all the way into the grill.
Before Initial Use
- Clean the grill grate and the drip pan as described in the section Maintenance and cleaning.
- Set the appliance onto a level, dry, and non-slip surface.
- Use a heat-resistant base for use of the appliance.
- Let the appliance warm up for at least 10 min without food in order to burn off residues.
- Some smoke and corresponding smell may occur on initial use. This is normal and is caused by the burning of production residues. The smoke and the smell disappear after a short time. Please ensure sufficient ventilation of the room.
- The appliance is ready for use.
- When using the grill, please protect the floor and surrounding walls from possible soiling e.g. through grease splatters.
Operation
- Lift the grill plate (3).
- Add approx. 1 litre of cold water into the drip pan (8) to avoid increased smoke emission during grilling.
- If the water level reduces during the grilling, refill it carefully. Make absolutely sure that no water gets onto the heating element.
- Insert the grill plate (3) into the grill.
- Connect the mains plug (5) to a suitable power outlet.
- Turn the on/off switch and temperature control (4) to the desired posi
tion. The indicator light glows while the heating element heats up. Warm up the appliance for approx. 10-15 minutes, before you start grilling.
- You can adjust the temperature with the temperature control settings 1-5 (just above 1 = low temperature, 5 = very high temperature). As soon as the set temperature is reached, the indicator light goes out.
- Now the food can be placed onto the grill plate. If necessary, you can distribute a bit of cooking oil over the grill plate.
Please note: Frozen food should be defrosted completely before grilling.
- The drip pan (14) catches run-off fat and cooking juices. Never operate the BBQ without the drip pan.
- The handles (15) of the grill are heat-insulated. Always wear oven or BBQ gloves when grilling. (Glove Category II with regard to heat protection, e.g. DIN-EN 407).
- Use long-handled cutlery for placing the food.
CAUTION! To avoid heat build-up, do not place aluminium foil or other grilling utensils onto the grill plate.
- To switch the grill off, turn the on/off switch temperature control (4) to 0 and disconnect the mains plug (5) from the socket.
- Let the appliance cool down for approx. 20 minutes before moving it.
- The grill plate (3) and the temperature control (4) may be removed only after the appliance has cooled down completely.
Grill Tips
Cooking Times
The following table lists some guide values for the cooking times of different foods. The grill time may differ depending on the thickness of the meat and your personal taste.
Cooking Times Table
| Meat type Grilling time | |
| Beef fillet 8 - 18 min | |
| Beef hamburger 8 - 12 min | |
| Veal cutlet 5 - 8 min | |
| Pork cutlet 12 min | |
| Lamb chop 4 - 8 min |
Always turn the BBQ meat using a pair of tongs or a spatula and never with a fork or other tools that have sharp corners or tips. These will damage the non-stick coating of the BBQ plate. Always pre-heat the grill plate before use. Only put the food onto the heating plate after it has been sufficiently preheated.
Use a lower temperature setting to slowly prepare delicate foods like fish fillet. Use a high temperature setting to brown meat, to seal the meat, and to grill vegetables or an entire fish.
Meat becomes softer when marinaded overnight. Marinade is prepared with oil to introduce moisture, vinegar to soften the meat, and a mixture of spices.
Turn the fish or the meat only once.
Multiple turning is not required and dries the grilled food.
Use the temperature control to switch off the appliance after use, and disconnect the mains plug from the socket. Let the appliance cool well before transporting or cleaning it.
Wipe the grill grate occasionally with a paper kitchen towel soaked with oil, so that the grilled food will not stick to it.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Your grill has been manufactured from quality materials. Please observe the following instructions when cleaning and maintaining the surfaces.
DANGER Risk of burns!

Let the grill cool down completely before you clean it.
DANGER Health hazard!

Do not use paint solvents or thinners to remove spots.
These are hazardous to your health and must not come into contact with food.
ATTENTION Risk of damage!

Do not use strong or polishing solvents or scouring pads, as these attack the surfaces and leave scouring marks.
- Turn the temperature controller to 0 each time before you clean it, and unplug the mains plug from the socket.
Warning! Never immerse the grill into water or other liquids. When cleaning, take care that no liquid gets onto the heating element or comes into contact with live parts.
- Wipe the surfaces of the appliance with a lightly moistened cloth and then wipe it dry.
Take off the grill plate. Then disconnect the temperature control from the grill plate.
- Remove the drip pan from the appliance and empty it. Clean the drip pan with warm water and a little dishwasher detergent.
- Wipe the grill grate with a cloth lightly moistened with warm water. Add a little detergent to dissolve the fat more easily.
- Stubborn food residue can be removed more easily if first soaked for several minutes in cooking oil. Dab the respective locations with kitchen paper soaked with cooking oil. After approx. 5-10 minutes, wipe off the food residue with a clean cloth.
- Clean all parts carefully after cleaning, before you reassemble the appliance following the steps in reverse and use it again.
- When the appliance is not in use, store it in a dry place, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
- IMPORTANT: The grill always should be protected against moisture during storage.
