This manual describes the installaon, operon and maintenance of the unit and serves as an important source of informaon and reference. The knowledge of all safety instrucons and handling instrucons creates the conditions for the safe and proper operon of this machine. Moreover you have to respect the norms for the applicaon of the instrument applicable to local safety regulaons and general safety rules.

The manual is part of the product and has to be available in the immediate vicinity of the device for the installaon, operaoon, maintenance and cleaning personnel at all mes.

  1. The unit may be operated only from properly installed electrical outlets with a single touch!
  2. Device can cause injury if not correctly installed!

During the operaoon, some parts of the appliance become very hot. To avoid burns, do not touch the hot parts of the device!

  1. Do not use this appliance if it is not working properly, damaged or dropped to the ground.
  2. Do not use any accessories or spare parts that were not recommended by the manufacturer. This could pose a danger to the user or cause damage to the equipment and cause personal injury. In addition the warranty expires.
  3. Do not route cables over carpeng or other heat insulaon. Do not cover the cables. Keep the cables away from work areas and do not submerge in water.
  4. Do not pull the cord for moving the device. Before moving the unit always disconnect the power cord.
  5. Do not wrap the cord around the device and do not bend it.
  6. Protect the device from rain water, humidity and moisture.

ATTENTION!

The installaon and maintenance of the equipment must be carried out only by qualified personal!

  1. Unpack the unit and remove all packing material. Peel o the protecve cover from the device. If adhesive residue remains, remove them with a suitable solvent.
  2. To handle the weight of the device place the unit on a at and safe place which is not heat sensitive.
  3. Do never place the device on a ammable surface (such as: table cloth, carpet, etc.) or in the vicinity of combustible and ammable materials.
  4. Do not place the unit near open res, heaters or other heat sources.
  5. Maintain a minimum distance of 20cm from all sides.
  6. Set the device so that the plug is accessible to disconnect the device quickly from the network if necessary.

Operon

Please follow the steps below before rst usage of your crépe maker:

  • Before the rst use clean the baking plate with an into food fat soaked cloth to remove the industrial protecve-grease. Connect the equipment into a grounded single outlet. The unit must be grounded in a suciert manner.
  • Turn on the unit by pressing the POWER-switch. The power indicator light (red) lights up.
  • Pre-heat the device at 200^ and leave it on for about 1/2 hour. Then cool down the unit. Then heat up the device at 300^ and leave it on for about 1/2 hour to eliminate the producon residues. Then cool down the unit. Take the unit into operon.

WARNING! Risk of burns!

The unit will become very hot during operaon! Do not touch the hot surfaces of the device. Use the handle of the device.

Operaon aer pre-heang:

Preheat the device at the highest stage (300^) for about 15 minutes.
- Set the desired temperature. The temperature range of the crêpe-iron is at 50^ - 300^ .
The temperature indicator light (green) goes on.
- When the set temperature is reached, the temperature indicator light goes o. If the temperature on the baking plate is lit, the temperature indicator light goes on and the heang element heats up on the set temperature.
- Give the dough onto the baking plate and spread it with a baer spreader. Pay aenon to the dosage of the dough, otherwise the excess dough ows down at the sides.
- In order to spread the dough smoothly on the baking sheet, place the batter spreader always in slightly tempered water.
In order to turn the crêpes on the plate, use a suitable turner.
If you no longer use the device, disconnect the unit from the wall outlet.
For a new usage, please follow all the steps that are described under "operaon aer pre-heang"

Do not clean the device directly with a water jet! So not use a pressure water jet. Allow to cool, before cleaning the device!

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning instrucons:

  • Clean the machine every day.
  • Disconnect the unit from the power supply (pull the plug!) and allow it to cool down before being cleaned.
  • Remove the baking residue aer baking while sll hot with a paper towel or a damp, so cloth.
    Clean it only dry or with a damp cloth. Make sure that no moisture, oil or grease will enter the unit.
    To clean the body, do not use metallic or sharp objects.
    Clean the exterior body with a so cloth and mild detergent every day.

Maintenance instrucons:

  • From me to me check the power cable for damage. Never use a machine when the cable is damaged. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by customer service or a qualified electrician to avoid danger.
    In case of damage or malfuncons, contact your dealer.
  • Maintenance and repairs must be performed only by qualified personnel using original spare parts and accessories. Never aempt to carry out repairs to the equipment itself.

Disposal

At the end of its life your old unit is to be disposed of according to naonal regulaons. It is advisable to contact a specialist disposal company. To exclude an abuse and the associated risks, please make sure that your old machine is unusable prior to disposal and poses no danger to others.
