Frequently Asked Questions - 32322 Berger & Schröter

I forgot my password. What can I do?
Hold down the M and E buttons, move the switch to the TEST (SET) position, then release. The device resets to factory settings and the password is removed.
The camera displays 'It is difficult to record night videos at low voltage.' What does this message mean?
This indicates that the battery voltage is low (below 4.0 V). The infrared light cannot turn on, so night videos are impossible. Replace the batteries or reduce the video recording duration.
What is the range of the motion detector (PIR)?
The PIR sensor has an adjustable range up to 10 meters. The detection angle is about 90°.
Which memory card should I use?
Use a TF (Micro SD) card with capacity up to 32 GB. The camera does not have internal memory. For best performance, a class 10 card is recommended.
How to install the camera correctly?
Mount the camera using the included strap or a tripod, at a height of 1 to 2 meters from the ground. Avoid pointing it at heat sources or branches that could cause false detections.
The camera won't turn on, what should I do?
Check that the switch is in TEST or ON position. Insert new alkaline batteries respecting polarity. If the problem persists, try a 6V/2A power adapter.
Can I use rechargeable batteries?
Yes, rechargeable AA (Ni-MH) batteries can be used, but their lower voltage may reduce infrared range and operating time. For optimal performance, use high-quality alkaline batteries.
How to set the date and time?
Move the switch to TEST, press M to enter the menu, navigate with arrows to Date/time, then press E to edit. Confirm with E. Enable Timestamp to display the date on images.
Night photo quality is poor, why?
The IR flash range is about 20 m. If the subject is too far away, the image will be dark. Also check that the batteries are sufficiently charged (voltage > 4.0 V) for the IR LEDs to work at full power.
How to transfer files to a computer?
Two methods: use the USB cable provided in ON mode to connect the camera to the computer, or remove the TF card and insert it into a card reader. Files are in the PHOTO and VIDEO folders.

Question:

I have forgotten my password. What can I do?

Press and hold the „M“ + „E“ keys, switch on the unit, turn the switch to the „SET“ position and switch off the unit. The camera will be reset to factory settings, all last set parameters (including any passwords) will be deleted.

Question:

My camera displays the following „At low voltage it is difficult to obtain night video. / It is difficult to obtain night video under low voltage.“ What does this mean?

When the camera is turned on, the message „It is difficult to obtain night video under low voltage“ appears, indicating that the battery is very low. If the battery voltage is lower than 4.0 V, the infrared light cannot be switched on. The camera cannot take pictures or record videos at night. The power consumption of the infrared light is very high and exceeds normal power consumption. It is recommended to set the video length shorter or as needed during the day. The camera does not need to switch on the infrared light and can still record videos.
