Only use the product as described and only for the indicated application area. Take the trolley out of the packaging and check it for any possible damage. In the case of damage, do not use the trolley and immediately read the warranty paragraph.

Keep the instructions somewhere safe. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

Intended Use

The product was only developed for private use and is not suitable for commercial purposes. The trolley is only designed to carry your personal belongings. Using the trolley for any unintended purpose can lead to material damage or personal injury. In this case, the manufacturer or dealer assumes no liability for the resulting damage. The trolley is not a toy.

Safety instructions CAUTION! Risk of injury!

Lifting or carrying heavy luggage incorrectly can lead to injury or damage to bones, muscles or joints. Always hold the sides of the trolley firmly with both hands to lift it. Please ask for assistance if you are unable to lift the trolley.

When unpacking the trolley, ensure that children cannot become trapped or suffocate in the packaging.

CAUTION! Risk of damage!

You can avoid damage to your trolley by following the instructions below.

• Observe the maximum load bearing capacity of the trolley
• Carry the trolley on staircases rather than pulling it
• Avoid over-filling the trolley

Instructions for use for the TSA combination lock C

The number combination is set to 0-0-0 ^7 . You can set your own number combinations as follows:

1. A small push button 6 is located immediately next to the number combination.

Press this using a sharp object so that it remains in the pressed position. Then set the numerical code wheels to the desired number combination.

1. After you have entered the desired number combination, push the latch to open the lock ^8 . Now the push button springs back into its original position and the trolley can only be opened with the newly selected number combination.

2. Please memorise the new combination well. At least one of the code wheels must be moved to close the lock. The lock can be opened again by entering the given number combination.

Additional notes

This combination lock is a TSA combination lock and is effective in over 20 countries, incl. USA, Canada, Japan, Israel, China, Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, Switzerland, etc.* It allows the closed trolley to be opened by TSA (Transport Security Administration) authorities without force. The lock can be opened by the authorities using a master key, and then closed again. Therefore, NO key is delivered with the trolley.

Resetting the number combination

NOTE!

Please note that the number combination can only be reset together with the current combination. If you forget the last used code, please do NOT press the reset button ^6 .

To reset your TSA combination lock, please proceed as follows:

1. Enter the last used number combination using the number wheels.
2. To change to a new number combination, follow steps 1 to 3 in the section "Instructions for use for the TSA combination lock".

Procedure

1. Enter your 12-digit UID on the web-page www.okoban.com or scan your QR-code and create your own account.
2. Save your name and address for the finder and add details about the item.
3. If your lost luggage if found, the finder can enter the UID on the OKOBAN® webpage. Then you will receive the information that the trolley has been found and how to contact the finder.

IMPORTANT!

The UID is useless without the corresponding user account. Therefore, the UID must be registered with your personal data in advance.

You can record an unlimited number of luggage pieces in your user account.

NOTE!

Storage

Always store the dry and clean trolley in a warm room, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Notes concerning disposal

Dispose of the article and packaging according to the current local regulations.

Cleaning

Only clean the trolley as described below in order to prevent any possible damage.

1. Clean the trolley with a damp cloth.

2. Allow the trolley to dry fully before storing it

3. Do not use any aggressive
   solvent-based cleaning products

4. Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning equipment such as knives, metal or nylon brushes or similar. These can damage the surface.

Notes about the warranty and servicing

This article has a 5-year warranty, starting on the date of purchase. In the event of product defects, you are entitled to statutory rights against the vendor. These statutory rights are not restricted by our warranty presented in the following.

Warranty conditions

The warranty period starts with the purchase date. Please keep the original purchase receipt in a safe place.

This document is required to verify the purchase. If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within five years from the purchase date of this product, the product will be repaired or replaced by us - at our discretion - free of charge to you.

This warranty implies that within the period of five years the defective item and the purchase receipt are presented, including a brief written description of the defect and the time it occurred.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not extended when the warranty has been claimed.

This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any damages and defects already existing at the time of purchase must be reported immediately upon unpacking.

Warranty coverage

The device was produced carefully according to strict quality guidelines and tested diligently prior to delivery. The warranty applies to material or factory defects. Excluded from the warranty are parts of the product subject to normal wear and damage to fragile parts e.g. switches, batteries or other parts manufactured from glass.

This warranty expires if the product is damaged, not used as intended or not serviced. For the proper use of the product, all instructions listed in the operating instructions must be observed carefully. Any form of use and handling that is advised against in the operating instructions or warned against must always be avoided.

The product is only intended for private and not for commercial use. In the case of incorrect and improper handling, use of force and interventions not performed by our authorised Service Centre, the warranty shall be void.

Handling in case of a warranty claim

In order to ensure prompt handling of your case, please observe the following notes:

• Please keep the article number (e.g. IAN 303984) and the purchase receipt as a proof purchase for all inquiries.
• Please find the article number on the title page of your instructions (bottom left) or on the care label on the article.
• Should a malfunction or other fault occur, please first contact the service department given below.
