CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

You will find instructions in this manual for routine maintenance of the vacuum cleaner. To ensure long life and service of the vacuum cleaner without problems, check regularly the hose, the dust bag and fi iters of the vacuum cleaner. Remove dirt from clogged hose, replace full dust bags and clean dirty motor filter.

Replacement dust bags and fi Iters

The dust bag and the motor filter are very important for optimum efficiency of the vacuum cleaner. The purpose of the dust bag is to capture dirt, but in the same time it has to be sufficiently porous to let air through. If the dust bag or the filter is clogged, which is indicated by the full bag indicator ⑧, the air cannot flow through the vacuum cleaner and it becomes ineffective, regardless of how much power the motor has. In order for the vacuum cleaner to work with maximum effectiveness, replace the dust bag regularly and clean the motor filter when necessary. Some fine particles can very quickly reduce the air flow and reduce the suction power already before the dust bag seems full. Therefore when vacuuming the residue of carpet cleaner, powder, dust from plaster and similar fine materials you should replace the dust bag more often.

CHANGING DUST BAG

  • Before opening the cover, the vacuum cleaner has to be unplugged and the hose has to be disconnected from the vacuum cleaner!
  • Never use the vacuum cleaner without the inserted dust bag and filter!
  • After unplugging it and disconnecting the hose, you open the cover of the dust bag by pressing the lock upward and opening the cover.
  • Take the holder of the dust bag by its handle and remove it together with the dust bag from the vacuum cleaner.
