This product is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for household use and similar applications only, such as for example:

Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.

- Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.
The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product. -
Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.

Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
- Do not move or transport the product while in operation or if it still contains hot water. There is a risk of burns caused by spurting hot water.
- Caution! Hot steam escapes from the steam outlet. Keep hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and open the lid with special caution. Never cover the steam outlet.
- Do not use this product until it has been filled with water in order to prevent damages.
- Use this product in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
- Place the product on a flat, sturdy and slipresistant surface.

This product is suitable for boiling eggs only. Any other use may result in damage to product or injuries.
Before first time use
Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions.
Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center.
Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.

Operation
Up to 7 hen's eggs can be boiled at a time.
Fresh eggs will produce the best result.

Caution
Use caution when handling the filling cup. The egg pricker underneath the filling cup is sharp.
1 Fill the supplied filling cup with water.
Please observe the MAX marking on the filling cup.
2 Fill in the water into the water tray.
3 Pierce the blunt end of the eggs by using the egg pricker.
This will reduce the risk of the eggs cracking during boiling.
4 Place them with the blunt side up into the egg tray.
5 Place the egg tray onto the base unit and put on the lid.
6 Connect the power plug to a suitable power outlet.
7 Set the degree of hardness with the hardness degree control.

Switch the egg cooker on by putting the On/Off switch onto position I. The indicator lights up.
Once the water is boiled, a signal tone is heard and the indicator light goes out.
9 Set the On/Off switch to position 0 and then pull the plug.
10 Open the lid. Caution! Hot stream will escape. Remove the egg tray with the handle and place it immediately under cold running water.
Note
If the eggs stay in the boiler, they will continue to harden. Depending on the size, number and freshness of the eggs, the results may differ slightly.
Cleaning and care

Warning - Risk of electric shock!
Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.

Warning - Property damage!
When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning products and tools may scratch the surface(s).
11 Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly. Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch).
12 Clean the lid and the egg tray under hot running water with a damp sponge and mild dishwashing detergent. Dry all of the pieces completely before using again.
Note
Wipe off the water tray with a damp cloth moistened with white vinegar, in order to remove any mineral deposits left behind from the water. Then wipe off the water tray with a damp cloth.
