IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

  1. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  2. Children shall not play with the product.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  4. A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the authorised service agent in order to avoid hazards.
  5. Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care.
  6. Keep the product and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
  7. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the holes of the plastic shell.
  8. To prevent risk of fire and electric shock. Do not use the unit near windows.
  9. Power plug must be removed from power socket before cleaning, serving, maintenance and move from one location to another.
  10. The fan should be placed on a flat and stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.

  1. Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and pass it on with the product. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in this user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment.
  2. Use the product only for its intended purpose and with recommended accessories and components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.
  3. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.
  4. Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
  5. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
  6. Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.
  7. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.
  8. Only unplug from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
  9. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
  10. Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.

  28. The product may only be connected to the mains once it has been completely assembled.

INTENDED USE

The product is only intended for circulating room air. Only use according to these instructions. Any other use can lead to damages to product or injuries.

BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

  • Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center.
  • Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.
    • After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

ASSEMBLING AND MOUNTING

1 Attach both foot parts together.
2 Place the product on the assembled stand and ensure that the power cord is positioned on the recess.
3 Use the nut to fix the stand on the product.
4 Place on a stable level surface.

Caution

• The product may only be connected to the mains once it has been completely assembled.
- The appliance must not be disassembled during operation, general care, cleaning and user maintenance.
- The product may never be operated without the stand or in a horizontal position.

OPERATION

5 Plug in the product.
6 To turn on the product, set the Timer switch to ON and select a speed level 1-3. To turn off the product, press the OFF button.
7 Use the OSC switch to turn on/off the oscillation function.

TIMER MODE

8 The TIMER function switches the ventilator off at a set time. Times can be selected between 0 to 120 minutes intervals.

Caution

• The guard must be completely closed when operating the product.
• During operation, do not put fingers or other objects in the guard.
• Unplug if it is not used for some time.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Warning! Before cleaning, always let the product come to a complete stop and disconnect it from the mains.
  • Do not use solvents or abrasives, metal utensils or hard brushes for cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the fan in water or other liquid. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
    • Dry all parts thoroughly before storage.
    • Store the appliance in a cool, dry and clean place, out of the reach of children and pets.

9 Use a soft piece of cloth for cleaning. If the dirt or contamination proves hard to remove, use mild detergent.
