BEFORE FIRST TIME USE

  • Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, please observe applicable legal provisions. Should you have any questions regarding proper disposal, contact your local waste management center.
  • Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately.
    • After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

INSTALLATION

1 Use the thumb screw to attach the motor housing at the desired angle.

Caution

• The product may only be connected to the mains once it has been completely assembled.
- The appliance must not be disassembled during operation, general care, cleaning and user maintenance.
- The product may never be operated without the stand or in a horizontal position.

Note

Switch off and disconnect the product before adjusting the angle.

OPERATION

2 Plug in the product.
3 To switch the appliance on, turn selector to II (high speed) or I (low speed). To switch it off, turn selector to O.
4 Unplug if it is not used for some time.

Caution

• The guard must be completely closed when operating the product.
- During operation, do not put fingers or other objects in the guard.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Warning! Before cleaning, always let the product come to a complete stop and disconnect it from the mains.
  • Use a soft piece of cloth for cleaning. If the dirt or contamination proves hard to remove, use mild detergent.
  • Do not use solvents or abrasives, metal utensils or hard brushes for cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the fan in water or other liquid. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
    • Dry all parts thoroughly before storage.
    • Store the appliance in a cool, dry and clean place, out of the reach of children and pets.

5 Loosen the screw and snap out the front guard.

6 Use a soft piece of cloth for cleaning. If the dirt or contamination proves hard to remove, use mild detergent.
