Installation
The siren should be attached flush to the wall at a practical height for the operator. Ensure that a suitable power supply is available (12 V DC or 3 x 1.5 V batteries (type "D"), or both). The internal siren can be installed up to 100 metres from your wireless alarm centre. The reception range is strongly dependent on the structural characteristics of the building.
Location check
The incoming signal strength should be measured at the planned installation location for the internal siren. The FU3801 wireless testing box from our product range can be used for this purpose.
Avoid installation in the following locations:
Next to or on large metal structures. Less than one metre away from power lines and metal, water and gas pipes. Inside steel cases. Next to electrical devices, especially computers, photocopiers or communication devices.
To attach the base plate to the wall, loosen the screw on the bottom of the housing and lift the front part carefully from the base
plate.

Attaching the rear housing wall
- Using the base plate as a drilling template, mark the drill holes on the wall. Drill the holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
- Feed the connection cable of the PSU into the device and screw the rear housing side onto the wall (optional).
- Supply the internal siren with power (either 4.5V or 12V , or both - the polarity of the terminal block is printed on the PCB).
Assigning the Secvest to the wireless internal siren
- Set the "LEARN" jumper. LED1 starts to flash. Learning mode is now active.
- In the installer menu of the wireless alarm centre, select
the "Other Devices Info Module/Int Siren Teach Device" menu point.
- Press "Send" on the wireless alarm centre. The centre sends the learn signal to the internal siren.
After successful learning of the wireless alarm centre:
- The internal siren emits a double tone.
-
LED1 goes out.
-
Remove the "LEARN" jumper. The ID of the alarm centre is saved in the internal siren. The internal siren emits a double tone.
- Confirm the successful learning procedure on the wireless alarm centre.
- Define which partition should be used by the internal siren. Select the partition using the jumper.
Acoustic signal tones
The internal siren can generate a whole series of acoustic signal tones. These are similar to the signal tones of the wireless alarm centre. In the event of an alarm, the internal piezo signaller of the internal siren is activated simultaneously.
The following table gives an overview of the signal tones and their meaning.
| Signal tone | Meaning |
| Short beep (beep) | The system is faulty and the centre cannot be activated. |
| Interrupted beeps (beep...beep...beep) | A zone was opened during the exit delay time. This must be closed before the delay time expires. |
| Long, continuous beep (beeeeeeeeeeep) | The exit delay time is active. All zones are closed, the centre is activated after the delay time expires. |
| Short, interrupted beeps (beepbeepbeepbeep) | The entry delay time is active. |
Beeps at different pitch
The centre was successfully activated.
- The learn signal was received and stored.
- When exiting the installer menu.
- Door chime (when selected under zone attributes).
Jumper connections
"ALARM ONLY": When this jumper is attached in 12 V operation, then only the alarm tones of the internal siren are emitted. When this jumper is not attached, then the information tones of the alarm centre are also emitted.
Note: Only alarm tones are emitted in stand-alone battery operation, regardless of the jumper setting.
"FORCE LOW VOL": When this jumper is attached, the alarm tones of the internal siren are emitted at low volume.
