Precautions and tips for your safety
Never wash the motor using water or in the dishwater, especially when it is plugged into the mains (danger of short circuit).
Use a soft cloth to clean the motor after use.
Always unplug the power cord before applying or removing the motor from the machine.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before assembling disassembling or cleaning.
Do not place the machine near heat sources (e.g. stoves) or in the presence of water (e.g. sinks).
Use this appliance only for the intended use described in this manual, for a maximum time of 15 minutes continuously.
Do not remove the power cord with wet or damp hands.
Use only the power cord supplied and extension cables suitable for the current indicated on the motor nameplate.
This product is designed for use in domestic environments or within work areas such as: kitchen areas in shops, offices and other workplaces, hotels and other tourist facilities, restaurant kitchens.
When working with machines equipped with motors, avoid wearing ties, scarves or long necklaces. Also remember to pull back your hair.
Cleaning and maintenance cannot be performed by children, unless under close adult supervision.
All repairs involving electrical components must be carried out by qualified personnel. Unauthorised personnel are prohibited from accessing the internal parts of the motor.

The presence of a crossed-off wheelie bin indicates that within the European Union the product is subject to separate collection at the end of its useful life. Do not dispose of these products in unsorted municipal waste.
Important safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

- To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put (the machine or the motor) in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
- Avoid contacting moving parts.

Save these instructions
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wide than other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, the plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

How to couple the motor to Marcato machines
Approach the motor to the machine by tilting it upwards about 30^ and inserting the pin into the hole of the rollers (Fig. 1). Push the motor until it leans against the side. Lastly rotate it downwards about 30^ until it is completely stable. Before connecting the power cord, make sure that the supply voltage matches that indicated on the rating plate of the motor (Fig. 2). To start the motor, press the switch in position I (Fig. 3 - 4). To use the pulse motor, press the button in position II (PULSE). To remove the motor from the
machine, rotate it upwards by about 30^ and pull it outwards (Fig. 5).
Warranty
Marcato products are manufactured with the best materials available and undergo continuous quality checks. For this reason, we guarantee assistance for 2 years against manufacturing defects. However, the warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use or use other than that illustrated in this manual.
