Frequently Asked Questions - ReadyWarm 9000 Touch CECOTEC

How many heating modes does the CECOTEC ReadyWarm 9000 Touch offer?
The ReadyWarm 9000 Touch has 3 selectable heating modes via the touch LCD screen: low power, medium power, and maximum power (2,000 W). Choose the mode based on the size of the room and the outside temperature to optimize your consumption.
What area can the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch effectively heat?
This oil-filled radiator is designed to heat rooms up to 20 m². For larger rooms, it is recommended to place it near the area you want to prioritize heating or to pair it with a second unit.
How do you set the timer on the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch?
The timer is set via the touch LCD screen. You can program a running time of up to 9 hours. Once the time is up, the radiator automatically turns off, saving energy during the night or when you're away.
What does the 'EO' code displayed on the radiator screen mean?
The EO code indicates that the anti-tip protection system has been triggered: the radiator has detected that it is no longer upright and has automatically shut off for safety. Place it upright on a stable and horizontal surface, then turn it back on normally.
Is the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch dangerous if a child or pet knocks it over?
No, thanks to its integrated anti-tip safety device, the radiator automatically turns off as soon as it tips over. It also has overheat protection that cuts power in case of excessive internal temperature. These two safety features make it suitable for homes with children or pets.
How do you adjust the thermostat on the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch?
The thermostat is adjustable directly via the radiator's touch interface. Set the desired setpoint temperature: the radiator will heat until it reaches this temperature, then stop and resume automatically to maintain constant comfort and limit consumption.
What is the electrical consumption of the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch?
The maximum power is 2,000 W. In low mode, consumption is reduced. For one hour of operation at full power, expect about 2 kWh. Using the thermostat and timer significantly limits actual consumption over time.
Can the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch be easily moved from one room to another?
Yes, the radiator is equipped with integrated wheels that facilitate its movement on hard floors. A cable storage system is also provided to prevent the cord from trailing during movement. Its design allows it to be placed only in an upright position, never lying down.
Do you need to add oil to the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch?
No, the oil circuit is completely sealed at the factory and requires no maintenance or refilling. The oil is an internal heat transfer fluid that stores and redistributes heat smoothly and evenly. You do not need to perform any manipulation on this circuit.
Does the device produce odors during the first use?
It is normal to notice a slight odor during the first heat-ups, due to the heating of the paint and internal components. This odor usually disappears after a few hours of use in a well-ventilated room. It is not harmful.
What is the difference between the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch and the Connected version?
The ReadyWarm 9000 Touch model is controlled only via its integrated touch LCD screen. The Connected version adds Wi-Fi connectivity and a smartphone app, allowing remote control of the radiator, scheduling time slots, and controlling it even when away from home.
How do you maintain the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch oil-filled radiator?
Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Wipe the outer surface with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Never use abrasive products or water jets. Make sure not to obstruct the air circulation slots and keep the device away from curtains and furniture.

Can a wall thermostat be installed on a Cecotec ReadyWarm 9000 Touch towel warmer?
Frequently Asked Questions - 16/04/2026
Response Notice-Facile

No, it is not possible to install a wall thermostat on the ReadyWarm 9000 Touch. This device is designed with an integrated and autonomous control system. The oil-filled radiator already has a built-in mechanical thermostat that automatically manages the ambient temperature.

How the integrated thermostat works: You set the desired temperature directly via the radiator's touch LCD screen (buttons + and -). Once set, the mechanical thermostat operates automatically: it turns off the heating when the ambient temperature reaches the configured level, and it automatically turns back on if the temperature drops below that level. This system does not require any external thermostat.

Why a wall thermostat is incompatible: The ReadyWarm 9000 Touch is equipped with a simple standard power cord. There is no connection socket for an external thermostat. The radiator operates continuously when plugged in, and its internal thermostat manages the on and off based on the detected temperature.

Alternatives: If you want remote control or advanced programming, you can use a smart programmable plug (Wi-Fi plug with timer) to turn the device on/off at specific times. However, this does not replace the thermostat: only the power control would be managed by the plug, while temperature management would continue via the internal mechanical thermostat.

Important advice: Adding external devices not provided by the manufacturer could affect the proper functioning of the radiator and void the 2-year warranty. For specific needs regarding advanced temperature control, consult the official Cecotec customer service.
