How to set the time on the TMI VD33 watch?

Pull the crown to the second click (when the second hand is at 12 o'clock). Turn the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands. Make sure the 24-hour hand is correct for the AM/PM cycle. Push the crown back to the normal position on a time signal.

How to set the date on the VD33 watch?

Pull the crown to the first click. Turn it clockwise to advance the date to the desired number. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 1 AM to prevent malfunctions.

How to use the dual time zone (GMT)?

With the crown in normal position, press the button A (minus 1 hour) or button B (plus 1 hour) to adjust the dual time in one-hour increments. For precise minute adjustment, pull the crown to the second click (VD33) or first click (VD34) and use buttons A/B for one-minute adjustments.

How to reset the dual hour hands after battery replacement?

After replacing the battery, pull the crown to the second click (VD33) or first click (VD34). Simultaneously press buttons A and B for more than two seconds, then release. Then use button A or B to set the dual hands to the 0 (12 o'clock) position.

Why does the dual minute hand rotate every 15 minutes?

This is a normal function of the movement. The dual minute hand completes one full revolution every 15 minutes. This behavior does not indicate a defect.

How to know if the set time is AM or PM?

Use the 24-hour hand located at the 3 o'clock subdial as an AM/PM indicator. When setting the time, monitor this hand to ensure the set time corresponds to the correct cycle (e.g., if the 24-hour hand indicates 14, it is PM).

When not to set the date?

Do not adjust the date between 9 PM and 1 AM. During this period, the date change mechanism is active and manual adjustment may damage the movement. If necessary, first move the hands out of this range, set the date, then set the correct time.

ADJUSTING DUAL TIME HANDS POSITION

• After setting or changing the battery, before setting the time, check if the dual hour hand and dual minute hand are at the "0" (12 o'clock) position.
• If either the dual hour hand or the dual minute hand is not at the "0" position, reset it/them following the procedure shown below:

1) Pull out the crown to second click (VD33) / first click (VD34)
2) Keep the buttons A & B pressed at the same time for more than 2 seconds, then release the buttons.

• Dual minute hand moves and returns to where it was

3) Press button A or B to reset the dual time hands to "0" position.

• Button A : hands move counter-clockwise Button B : hands move clockwise
• The dual hour hand moves correspondingly with the dual minute hand
• The dual hour hand and dual minute hand move quickly if the respective buttons are kept pressed.

4) Push the crown back in the normal position.

LOCAL TIME SETTING

1) Pull out the crown to second click (VD33) / first click (VD34) when the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position.
2) Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. (make sure 24 hour hand is set correctly).
3) Push the crown back in the normal position in accordance with a time signal.

Note:

• The 24 hour hand moves correspondingly with the hour hand.
• The moment the date changes is midnight. When setting the hour hand, make sure that AM/PM is correctly set by using the 24 hour hand as an AM/PM indicator.

DUAL TIME SETTING

• When moving to a country or area in a different time zone, adjust the dual hour hand to that country / area :

DATE SETTING (VD33 only)

• Before setting the date, be sure to set the time.

1) Pull out the crown to the first click.
2) Turn the crown clockwise until the desired date appears.
3) Push the crown back in the normal position.

Note:

• Do not set the date during any time between 9:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M. Otherwise, the date may not change properly. If it is necessary to set the date during that time period, first change the time to any time outside it, set the date and then reset the correct time.
