SLOT-IN
This is where you insert the battery for simple plug-n-play functionality.

POWER KNOB
The power knob has three steps:
Step 1: OFF
Step 2: Indoor - this mode is perfectly optimized for indoors with adjusted bass performance. It is also the most energy efficient mode with the longest battery life.
Step 3: Outdoor - this mode increases loudness and enhances bass performance, but reduces battery life.

LED
The LED color indicates the mode on the SOUNDDBOKS. Indoor Mode is indicated by a green light and Outdoor Mode is indicated by a blue light. A constant red light indicates an empty battery.

DC INPUT
This input allows you to plug the charger directly into the SOUNDBOKS. That way you can charge the battery while playing the SOUNDBOKS or play the SOUNDBOKS directly from the charger. Please note that if you play the SOUNDBOKS directly from the charger without the battery, it cannot play at maximum volume.

VOLUME CONTROL
This one goes to 11!

AUX/JACK INPUT
This is where you plug in your music device using the 3,5mm AUX/jack cable if Bluetooth is not your cup of tea.

2. BATTERYBOKS

- When you receive your SOUNDDBOKS, make sure to charge the battery for 4 hours before using it. If you have ordered more than one battery, please note that each of them has to be charged for 4 hours.
- Never let the battery charge for more than 6 hours. Please unplug it as soon as it has been fully charged and the LED indicator light on the charger is green.
- Please be aware that the SOUNDDBOKS may shut down if the battery is low and the speaker is playing at maximum volume. In that case, please swap your empty battery for a fully charged one and restart your SOUNDDBOKS.

BATTERY DC PLUG
The plug goes into the DC input in the slot-in for connecting and locking the battery.

CARRYING STRAP
The strap makes it possible to easily slide the battery in, pull it out, and take it with you.

BATTERY INDICATOR LIGHTS
There are five indicator lights on each battery showing how much battery life is left. Each light equals 20% of the battery's capacity, so if there is only one light glowing, you should charge your battery.

DC CABLE
The cable cannot be used for carrying around the battery - that's what the carrying strap is for.

UNDERSIDE
This is where you will find all the relevant info about the battery. It is required to be visible by law and enables us to ship the batteries.

Handling rechargeable batteries improperly may lead to fire or explosion!
- Keep the rechargeable battery away from paper clips, coins, keys, screws, or
other metallic objects that could bridge the contacts. Short circuiting caused by bridged rechargeable battery contacts may result in burns or fire.
- A normal car battery charger is not suitable.
- Never carry the rechargeable battery by the poles.
- Avoid bumps and abrupt stresses.
- Avoid electrostatic charge or discharge. Never use synthetic cloths or sponges to clean the rechargeable battery; instead only use cloths moistened with water without any additives.
If used incorrectly, corrosive battery acid may leak out of the rechargeable battery.
- Avoid any contact with it.
In the event of accidental contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. - The power cord and AC adapter are for indoor use only.
- Never open the device housing. Repairs may only be carried out by an authorized specialist workshop. In the process, only parts that correspond to the original device data may be used.

NOTICE
Gross misuse and incorrect care are the main reasons for damage to high-performance rechargeable batteries.
- Avoid deep discharge of under 20% for optimal rechargeable battery power.
- Recharge your rechargeable battery frequently.
- Store your rechargeable battery in a cool, but frost-free area, ideally at 15^ . Higher temperatures result in a higher rate of self-discharge and shorten the intervals between charges.
- Do not expose the rechargeable battery to direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
- A deep discharge damages the rechargeable battery cells. The most frequent cause of deep discharge is prolonged storage or failure to use a partially discharged rechargeable battery. Only store the rechargeable battery once it is fully charged.
- If the SOUNDDBOKS is subjected to warm temperatures after being cold (e.g. after transport), condensation may occur inside of it.
- In this case, wait at least 2 hours before you connect and activate the SOUNDDBOKS.
- Be sure to contact SOUNDDBOKS if you have any concerns or if you notice melting plastic or odors coming from your SOUNDDBOKS.
- Do not place open fire sources such as burning candles or similar on the SOUNDDBOKS.
- Do not place the SOUNDDBOKS near heat sources (e.g. heaters, ovens).
-
Ensure sufficient ventilation.
-
Do not cover the vents with curtains, blankets, posters or similar. The buildup of heat inside the SOUNDDBOKS can shorten its lifetime.
- If the SOUNDDBOKS is to be unattended for a prolonged period (e.g. when on vacation), power down and disconnect the unit. Be sure to secure your SOUNDDBOKS in a clean, dry, and sheltered location.
Some of our products are labeled with the chemical name Hg (Mercury), Cd (Cadmium) or Pb (Lead). These are particularly hazardous substances, and it is important that they are removed from normal household waste and disposed at a recycling center. If the battery contains one or more of these hazardous substances, it will be marked beneath the pictogram shown above.
