How to set the display language?
Go to the OPTIONS menu then LANGUAGE. Select the desired language with the ▲/▼ keys and confirm with OK.
How to create a new time program?
Press MENU, choose the program type (Standard, Random, Cyclic), confirm with OK. Then press OK for 2 seconds to create an empty program. Program the output (if dual output), the day, start time (ON) and end time (OFF), and optionally the annual period.
How to set the date and time?
In OPTIONS, select CLOCK. Set the year, month, day, hour and minutes with the ▲/▼ keys. Confirm each field with OK. Then set the summer/winter change according to your region.
How to use the external input to override an output?
The external input is available only on non-Synchro models. In OPTIONS > EXTERNAL INPUT, choose the mode: PERM ON/OFF, TEMP or TIMER ON/OFF. Confirm with OK. Override is activated by an external contact.
How to delete a program?
From the menu, select the program type (e.g.: P Standard). Simultaneously press ▲ and ▼ for 2 seconds. The screen shows DELETE, confirm with OK. For multiple deletion, use the DELETION menu and choose SINGLE PRG, ALL PRG or HOLIDAY P.
How to program a holiday period (suspension of programs)?
In the menu, select HOLIDAY. Set the start time and date of suspension (OFF), then the end time and date (ON). Use the ▲/▼ keys to set values and OK to confirm.
How to manually override the state of an output?
From the initial screen, use key combinations: for temporary override, press the keys corresponding to the output (see manual). For permanent override, hold for 2 seconds. To return to AUTO mode, use the dedicated combination (see chapter 1-5).
How to use the EMD programming key (External Memory Device)?
Insert the D KEY into the connector. The screen displays the EMD management menu. Choose EXECUTE (direct execution), SAVE > EMD (backup), COPY < EMD (restore), READ (display), or DELETE (erase). Confirm each choice with OK.
How to consult the operating hours counter?
In OPTIONS > HOUR COUNTER, select the output (if dual). The screen displays cumulative hours. To reset, simultaneously press ▲ and ▼.
How to reset the device?
Use a pointed object to press the RESET button on the device. Note: programs and external input settings are not deleted. After reset, you must reprogram the date and time.

1 Description of equipment

The digital time switch is a weekly programming clock which enables the automatic switching on of different loads on the basis of a timed programming that is sufficiently flexible to allow or exclude the activation depending on the day of the week (for schools, offices, public places, etc.).

With the PLUS and SYNCHRO versions it is also possible to save-copy or read one or more programs on different devices using the D KEY programming key.

This equipment must be assembled and connected solely by adequately skilled personnel.

The equipment contains a non-removable battery and it must not be disposed of as urban waste but recycled in order to protect the environment. Failure to

1-7 First switch ON

The equipment is supplied without any settings.

  1. Press RESET with a pointed object to unlock the equipment (ref. Fig.4). Set following data:2.

LANGUAGES (ref. subsection 3-8-1).
DATE/TIME (Year, Month, Day, Time, Time Zone (ref. subsection 3-8-2)).

If there is a power failure, the Date/Time is memorised, and the digital switch: disables relay(s), deactivates back-lighting, if active,

displays flashing date and time for 2 minutes, and then changes to stand-by mode (display switched OFF) storing all the programmed data, until the mains power supply is reconnected or until a button which restarts the counter for the stand-by mode is pressed for more than 1 sec.

Enables a series of pulses to be executed within a defined period.

The ON time and the OFF time may vary from 1 sec. up to 23:59:59 hours

3-4 Holidays Program

This enables a period of suspension of the programs to be set, for example, for summer closing.

This menu enables any program in the memory to be displayed, modified or deleted.

3-6 Delete

This menu enables different type of deletions to be made.

De-activate a forcing

Press combined keys of the channel to be de-activated (ref. subsection 1-6) for 1. approx. 2 secs.

Select "AUTO" mode to deactivate using the menu (ref. subsection "Activate a forcing").

3-8 Options

This enables various clock parameters to be set.

3-8-3 External input

Function not available for the SYNCHRO models (the "EXT INPUT" item is not available in the "OPTIONS" menu).

This enables a period of operation in ON to be set for each channel. After this period, the clock signals the need for an intervention with the message "C1 MAINT" or "C2 MAINT", alternating with the current data.
