Copy Wi-Fi Settings from Router to Extender If your router supports WPS, you can follow the steps below to automatically copy the router's Wi-Fi settings (SSID and password) to the powerline extender. • 5GHz Wi-Fi is not available on single-band products. For multiple-band products, the powerline extender copies by default both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless settings at the same time. If it fails to copy both, your router may be only able to clone one band at a time. Please check your router's manual for support. Sync Wi-Fi Settings to More Extenders If you have more extenders, simply plug in and pair each one with the existing adapter to join the network. Then the Wi-Fi settings will automatically sync from the existing extender to the new ones.
