How do I reset my CPL adapter?

Press and hold the Reset button (using a pointed object) on the powered device until all LEDs turn off and then turn back on. The reset is then complete.

Why don't I have internet access via my CPL network?

Check that all CPLs are on the same electrical panel. Ensure that the CPL LEDs are solid green. Check Ethernet connections and that your internet connection works directly on the router.

What should I do if a CPL extender does not reconnect after moving it?

Make sure all devices are on the same electrical panel. Re-pair it with another CPL using the Pair button. Keep devices away from interference sources (dryer, air conditioner, etc.).

How do I add a new CPL adapter to my existing network?

Plug the new adapter into a wall outlet on the same electrical panel. Within 2 minutes, press the Pair button on the existing adapter and then on the new one for 1 second. The CPL LED flashes and then turns solid green.

How do I copy the Wi-Fi settings from my router to the CPL extender?

Place the extender near the router. Press the WPS button on the router, then within 2 minutes press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the extender for 1 second. The Wi-Fi LEDs flash quickly and then stay on.

Can I use a power strip to plug in the CPL adapters?

No, it is not recommended to plug CPL adapters into a power strip. Plug them directly into a wall outlet to avoid interference. Power strips can be plugged into the pass-through socket of the adapters.

How do I synchronize Wi-Fi settings between multiple CPL extenders?

Plug the new extenders into wall outlets and associate them with the CPL network via the Pair button. Wi-Fi settings are automatically synchronized from the existing extender.

What should I do if the CPL LED remains red or orange?

The LED indicates a poor connection. Make sure the adapters are on the same electrical panel and move them closer if possible. Re-pair the devices using the Pair button.

Can I configure Wi-Fi settings without using WPS?

Yes, you can configure settings via the extender's web interface or via the tpPLC app (available for iOS and Android).

What is the maximum speed of this CPL kit?

The maximum theoretical CPL speed can reach 1000 Mbps. However, actual speed depends on the quality of the electrical installation and distance.

1. Plug the adapter into a power outlet and connect it to the router's LAN port via an Ethernet cable.
2. Plug the extender into a wall outlet on the same service panel.
3. Wait until the Powerline LED on any powerline device turns solid green.

   More: To add additional Powerline adapters and extenders with the default settings, simply plug them into the wall outlets on the same service panel.

Secure the Powerline Network with the Pair Button

Within 2 minutes, press the Pair button on the powerline devices for 1 second. The Powerline LED starts blinking. When the Powerline LED turns solid green, it's done.

Attention

- Plug the powerline devices directly into the wall outlets but not the power strips.

- For passthrough powerline devices, plug the power strips into the integrated electrical sockets of the powerline devices.

Copy Wi-Fi Settings from Router to Extender

If your router supports WPS, you can follow the steps below to automatically copy the router's Wi-Fi settings (SSID and password) to the powerline extender.

1. Plug in the powerline extender near your router. Press the WPS button on your router.

2. Within 2 minutes, press the Wi-Fi button on the extender for 1 second.

3. When the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi LED 🏠 and 5GHz Wi-Fi LED 🔊 on the extender blink quickly for 3 seconds, and then stay on, it's done!

* 5GHz Wi-Fi is not available on single-band products. For multiple-band products, the powerline extender copies by default both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless settings at the same time. If it fails to copy both, your router may be only able to clone one band at a time. Please check your router's manual for support.

Sync Wi-Fi Settings to More Extenders

If you have more extenders, simply plug in and pair each one with the existing adapter to join the network. Then the Wi-Fi settings will automatically sync from the existing extender to the new ones.

Note: The wireless settings can also be configured through the powerline extender's web interface or through the tpPLC app. You can download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or simply scan the QR code.
