How to reset my TL-PA7017P PLC adapter?

Check that all adapters are on the same electrical circuit. Ensure the PLC LEDs are on; otherwise, re-pair the adapters. Check Ethernet connections and that your computer is on the same subnet as the router.

Paired adapters do not reconnect after moving them. What to do?

Try other outlets on the same circuit. Re-pair the adapters ensuring the PLC LED is on. Move adapters away from household appliances (dryer, air conditioner) or plug those appliances into the PLC adapter's passthrough socket to filter noise.

How to secure my PLC network?

Press the Pair button on one adapter for 1 second, then within 2 minutes, press the Pair button on another adapter for 1 second. Repeat for each adapter to add to the secure network.

What are the indicator lights and their meaning?

Power LED: solid indicates power; blinking indicates a problem. PLC LED: solid if PLC network is active; blinking during pairing. Ethernet LED: solid if a device is connected and the link is active.

Tips: We recommend that you plug in the powerline devices near each other when pairing.

Set up a secure network:

1 Press the Pair button for 1 second on one adapter.

2 Within 2 minutes, press the Pair button for 1 second on another adapter.

3 Done.

If you have more than 2 powerline devices, repeat the steps below on each additional devices to be configured:

1 Press the Pair button for 1 second on any powerline device in the secure network.

2 Within 2 minutes, press the Pair button for 1 second on the additional powerline device.
