1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to draw your attention to specichazards and risks. Note This symbol is used to indicate additional information or important notes.

- The product is intended for private, non- commercial use only.
- Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating, and only use it in adry environment.
- Donot drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
- Donot operate the product outside the power limits given in the specications.
- Donot open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
- Since the battery is integrated and cannot be removed, you will need to dispose of the product as awhole. Do this in compliance with the legal requirements.
- Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.
- Donot modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.
- Donot throw the battery or the product into re.
- Donot tamper with or damage/heat/disassemble the batteries/rechargeable batteries.
- Use the product for its intended purpose only.
- Donot attempt to service or repair the product yourself.Leave any and all service work to qualied experts. Warning –Battery
- Only use suitable charging devices or USB connections for charging.
- Asarule, do not charge devices or USB connections that aredefective and do not try to repair them yourself.
- Donot overcharge the product or allow the battery to completely discharge.
- Avoid storing, charging or using the device in extreme temperatures and extremely low atmospheric pressure(for example, at high altitudes).
- When stored over along period of time, batteries should be charged regularly (at least every three months). Warning –High volumes
- Toprevent hearing loss, avoid listening at high volume levels for long periods.
- Always keep the volume at areasonablelevel. Loud volumes, even over short periods, can cause hearing loss.
- Using this product limits your perception of ambient noise. Forthis reason, do not operate any vehicles or machines while using this product.
- The headset is equipped with arechargeable battery.The battery must be fully charged before using the device for the rst time.
- Ensurethat the headset is switched off before charging it.
- Begin charging by connecting the included USB charging cable to the charging socket (7) as well as to the USB connection of aPC/laptop.
- Alternatively,you can charge the headset using a suitable USB charger.Please refer to the operating instructions for the USB charger used.3
- The display lights up constantly in redduring the charging process.
- Ittakes around 2-3 hours until the battery is completely charged.
- Once the charging process is complete, the red light of the LED (3) turns to blue light.
- Disconnect all cable and mains connections after use.
Switching the headset off/on
- Press the MF button (5) until avoice says “Power ON” and the blue LED ashes.
- Toswitch it off,press and hold the MF button (5) until avoice says “Power OFF” and the red LED ashes. Note The functions described in this section areonly available for Bluetooth
- Make surethat your Bluetooth
-capable terminal device is on and Bluetooth
- Make surethat your Bluetooth
-capable terminal device is visible for other Bluetooth
- For moreinformation, please refer to the operating instructions of your terminal device.
- The headset and the terminal device should not be any further than 1metreaway from each other.The smaller the distance, the better.
- Switch the headset on using the MF button (5).
- Press and hold the MF button (5) until the red and blue LEDs ash alternatingly.The headset is searching for aBluetooth
settings on your terminal device and wait until Hama BTH RUN or Hama BTH ACTIVE appears in the list of Bluetooth
- Select Hama BTH RUN or Hama BTH ACTIVE and wait until the headset is listed as connected in the Bluetooth
settings on your terminal device. Note –Bluetooth
password Some terminal devices requireapasswordinorder to connect to another Bluetooth
device. Note –Bluetooth
- Ifyour terminal device requests apasswordfor connection with the headset, enter 0000. Note
- Once the connection has been established, a voice says, “Connected”.
- Ifthe connection attempt takes longer than 300 seconds to complete, it is cancelled and the LEDs go out. In this case, repeat the steps listed previously under 5.1 Bluetooth
connection (after successful pairing) Note

-capable terminal device is on and Bluetooth
- Make surethat your Bluetooth
-capable terminal device is visible for other Bluetooth
- For moreinformation, please refer to the operating instructions of your terminal device.
- Switch the headset on using the MF button (5). The blue LED begins to ash and the headset automatically connects with the last terminal device used. Note
- Once the connection has been established, a voice says, “Connected”.
- Ifthe connection attempt takes longer than 300 seconds to complete, it is cancelled and the LEDs go out. In this case, repeat the steps listed previously under 5.2.
- Itmay be necessary to make settings on your terminal device to enable automatic connection with the paired headset. Note –Connection impaired After the headset and terminal device have been paired, aconnection is established automatically. If the Bluetooth
connection is not established automatically,check the following:
settings of your terminal device to see whether Hama BTH RUN or Hama BTH ACTIVE is connected. If not, repeat the steps listed under 5.1. Bluetooth
- The performance can also be affected by a weak battery. 5.3. Bluetooth
multipoint connection This headset can be connected with two Bluetooth
enabled terminal devices simultaneously.
- First connect the headset withthe rst terminal device as describedin5.1.
on that terminal device.
- Next, connect the headset with the second terminal device as described in 5.1.
on the rst terminal device once more. The headset now connects to that terminal device automatically. 5.4. Audio playback Note
- Note that the functions described under 5.3. and 5.4.are only possible with an active Bluetooth
- Your terminal device must also support the individual functions.
- For moreinformation, please refer to the operating instructions of your terminal device.
- Functions can still be controlled directly via the terminal device.
- Set the volume on your terminal device to a low level.
- Switch the headset on using the MF button (5). Upon successful connection, avoice says, “Connected”.
- Start audio playback on the connected terminal device.
- Press Volume + (4) to increase the volume. There is an announcement when the maximum volume is reached.
- Press Volume -(6) to reduce the volume.
- Press the MF button (5) to start or pause audio playback.
- Press and hold Jump forwardone title(4) to skip to the next title.
- Press and hold Jump backwardone title (6) to skip to the previous title. 5.5. Hands-free function
- Press the MF button (5) once to answer an incoming call.
- Press the MF button(5) twice or use your telephone to reject an incoming call.
- During acall, press the MF button (5) once to end the call.
- Press the MF button (5) twice to call the number of the last call. Note –Call quality To increase the call quality,make surethat you arenear the headset with your mobile phone during the call. 5.6. Disconnecting the headset
- Switch the headset off.
- Disconnect the headset via the Bluetooth
settings on your terminal device. 5.7. Battery capacity
- Anannouncement is made and the display ashes in redwhen the battery is low
- Charge the headset as described in 4. Getting Started.
6. Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Make surethat water does not get into the product.
