2. Safety Instructions
| ! | Keep the device out of reach of children and unauthorized users. Do not let them enter the working area during use. |
| ! | Only use the jack/jack stands on a flat and steady surface that is capable of supporting the weight of the jack/jack stands and its load. Never use the jack/jack stands on a slope or exceed the indicated load limit. |
| ! | Inspect the device(s) for damage before each use. Do not use when damage (broken, bent, cracked parts) is noticed. Contact your local dealer for spare parts. Only use original spare parts. When the jack or jack stand was subjected to a shock load, stop using it and contact your local dealer for inspection. |
| ! | Only use the jack/jack stands on vehicles of which the lift points and supporting points on frame and/or underbody are compatible with the saddle of the jack or jack stand. Check the user manual that came with the vehicle to determine location and type of lift points and supporting points. Incompatibility may cause structural damage to vehicle and/or jack/jack stand. |
| ! | Jack This device is for lifting purpose only. Once the vehicle is lifted to the desired height it must be supported by a pair of jack stands with the appropriate rating. Never work under or near a load that is only supported by this device. Jack stand Always use a single pair of jack stands with the same specifications and make sure the centre of gravity is in between the stands. Be extremely careful when using on 3 wheeled vehicles. Do not use the jack or jack stand for continuous support e.g. to level a trailer, camper, building structure... or to move a vehicle. |
| ! | Use the jack stands only if their height is locked properly by the holding lever. |
| ! | Do not attempt to move the vehicle and never enter or climb on the vehicle while it is supported by the jack or jack stands. |
| ! | Always chock wheels that are in contact with the floor in both directions. |
| ! | Make sure the area under the vehicle is clear before lowering. |
| ! | All modifications of the device(s) are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device(s) is not covered by the warranty. |

6. Use

Always comply with the safety instructions as described in §2. Failure to do so may result in severe injury or death.
6.1 Jack
Before use
It is possible that during shipment of the device air gets trapped inside the hydraulic system causing malfunctioning.
- Turn the release valve [E] 1 turn counter-clockwise and push the saddle [A] all the way down. Note: the open end of the handle [H] can be used to turn the release valve.
- Remove the cover plate [C], locate and remove the oil filler plug [J].
- Insert the handle [H] into the socket [D]; slide the protrusion of the handle into the slot on top of the socket and twist the handle clockwise to secure it.
- Quickly pump 6~8 full strokes to remove air in the system.
- Close the oil filler plug [J] and place the cover plate [C] back.
Note: the overload valve [I] is calibrated to 2 tonnes. NEVER adjust this overload valve [I].
To raise a vehicle
- Turn the release valve [E] clockwise until it is closed tightly.
- Place the vehicle in gear (or in Park P) for vehicles with automatic transmission) and chock the wheels that remain in contact with the floor in both directions.
- Locate the lift points of the vehicle (refer to the vehicle's user manual) and make sure they are compatible with the saddle [A] of the jack. Do not use the jack if saddle and lift points are not compatible to avoid structural damage to vehicle and/or jack.
Note: always centre the load on the saddle to avoid damage to the jack.
- Insert the handle [H] into the socket [D] and pump until the jack is almost touching the lift point. Verify that the saddle [A] is centred and good contact with the lift point is assured.
- Continue pumping the handle [H] until the vehicle is raised to the desired height. Immediately support the vehicle by a pair of jack stands. Never work under a vehicle that is only supported by the floor jack!
- When the jack stands are in place, lower the floor jack slightly (see instructions below) until the vehicle rests on the jack stands.
To lower the vehicle
- Remove the handle [H] from the socket [D] and use the open end to turn the release valve [E] slowly counter-clockwise. Note: when the vehicle is on jack stands, first lift the vehicle until the jack stands can easily be removed.
- For storage, close the release valve by turning it completely clockwise.
6.2 Jack stand
- Insert the post [1] into the base [3].
- Turn the holding lever [2] upwards, set the post at the appropriate height, and turn the holding lever down again to secure the post. Never use the jack with the holding lever upwards and always set both stands to the same height!
- Repeat above procedure for the second stand. The second stand must be set to the same height as the first.
- Lift the vehicle by means of a suitable jack.
- Locate the supporting points of the vehicle (refer to the vehicle's user manual) and make sure they are compatible with the saddle of the jack stand. Do not use the jack stand if saddle and supporting points are not compatible to avoid structural damage to vehicle and/or stand.
- Position the jack stands under the vehicle, saddles lined up with the supporting points. All supports of the stand must make full contact with the surface. Make sure the surface is strong enough to carry the weight of the stand and its load; never use the stands on a slope.
- Slowly lower the vehicle onto the jack stands. Check again to make sure that they are positioned correctly before completely lowering the vehicle.
- Remove the jack.
- Gently rock the vehicle in all directions to make sure the vehicle is stable and jack stands are applied correctly.
- When finished working, clear the area under the vehicle and lift the vehicle with a suitable jack so the jack stands can be removed.
- Lower the vehicle onto its wheels.
6.3 Car creeper
- Slide the couplings [b] over the frame of the car creeper (opposite side of the head rest [a]). Align the holes in the couplings and the frame and insert the included bolts (2 per coupling). Tighten the nuts.
- Slide the other part of the car creeper into the couplings, insert the included bolts (2 per coupling) and tighten the nuts.
- Mount the 4 castors [c]; refer to the image on page 2 for their location.
7. Care and maintenance
- When the jack is not in use or for storage, lower the saddle completely to prevent corrosion. Always store the floor jack in a horizontal position to avoid oil leakage.
- Keep the jack and jack stands clean and keep all moving parts well lubricated. Remove excessive grease and dirt from the outside.
- The jack contains about 7 fl oz (± 210 ml) oil (SAE5W). To check the oil level, lower the saddle [A] completely and open the oil filler plug [J] under the cover plate [C]. Add oil when the oil level is 12 " (12 mm) under the plug hole.
- The oil should be replaced once a year. To replace the oil, open the oil filler plug [J] and remove the release valve [E] completely by turning it counter-clockwise. Be careful not to contaminate the inside of the hydraulic system! Remove and refill via the oil filler plug hole.
Notes:
- Use of improper oil or other fluids can cause serious damage to the internal parts of the jack!
- Take appropriate safety measurements when handling oil.
o Dispos of used oil in accordance with local regulations.
- Re-install and close the release valve [E] completely.
- Pull the saddle [A] all the way up, then open the release valve [E] to lower the saddle. Force the saddle to lower faster. Close the release valve [E] and repeat this procedure a couple of times to ensure proper oil distribution.
8. Troubleshooting
Jack will not raise / lift load / lift load to full height
Jack lowers under load
The weight of the load is higher than 2 tonnes. Use a suitable jack.
- The release valve is open. Close it tightly by turning it clockwise. Check whether dirt prevents the release valve to be closed completely. Remove the release valve and clean it.
Check the oil level and add/replace oil when necessary (see §7).
- Remove air from the hydraulic system (see §6.1: Before use).
- If the above steps do not solve the problem, there is something wrong with the hydraulic system itself. Contact your local dealer for service and support.
Jack will not lower
- When there is a load on the jack and it will not lower, remove the load by carefully lifting it with a second jack.
- Never apply excessive force (e.g. use a hammer) on the saddle to lower it.
-
Check the spring that pulls the lifting arm down. Replace when broken or re-attach when loose.
-
Check the oil level - too much oil will block the hydraulic system.
- Dirt may block the release valve. Remove and clean it and replace the oil (see §7).
- Remove air from the hydraulic system (see §6.1: Before use).
Make sure the system is sufficiently greased.
Weak lifting
- This is possibly caused by dirty oil - replace the oil (see §7).
- Close the release valve tightly by turning it clockwise. Check whether dirt prevents the release valve to be closed completely. Remove the release valve and clean it.
- Remove air from the hydraulic system (see §6.1: Before use).
Unloaded saddle slowly moves up
Remove air from the hydraulic system (see §6.1: Before use).
