SETTING UP AND COMMISSIONING
Attention! Never operate the device without a pre-filter and without water flow!
The device is only to be positioned and operated horizontally on the water surface. The submersible pump included in the scope of delivery must be installed below the surface of the water (submerged). Establish the hose connection and fix it with a hose clamp. The device switches on automatically as soon as you have established the power connection.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before each cleaning and maintenance, make sure that the device is switched off and disconnected from the power source.
The filter housing and the barrel unit must be cleaned at regular intervals. The cleaning interval depends heavily on the degree of soiling. The degree of pollution can vary significantly from water to water. First open the filter basket and take out the pump motor. To clean the rotor and the internal parts, also remove the corresponding screws and pull off the cover of the motor housing. The rotor can then easily be pulled out of the liner and cleaned. Do not use any sharp-edged objects such as Steel brushes, use a soft sponge instead. Stubborn dirt such as The best way to remove limescale deposits is with premiumcare PUMP CLEANSER pump cleaner. If there is sufficient flow, the pump is cooled by the water. Always make sure that the pump works against as little resistance as possible. If the flow rate is reduced (e.g. hose diameter too small, ball valve in the line, delivery height too high, contamination, etc.) the operating temperature rises significantly. From 55 degrees Celsius, more lime is deposited on the pump motor. In the worst case, this layer of lime becomes so thick that the rotor runs very stiffly, jams and the motor burns out. Damage caused by soiling and calcification is excluded from the guarantee. The user has to properly maintain and clean the pump depending on the amount of dirt and limescale. After cleaning, reassemble the pump in reverse order.

WEAR PARTS
The pump must not run dry. The dry run leads to rapid wear and tear and damages the pump in the long term. Use in polluted water with solids and particles also leads to premature wear and has a negative impact on the service life of the pump. Algae or others Plants that wrap around the filter basket and can quickly clog it lead to reduced water flow and increased wear. We recommend operating the device exclusively in bodies of water without plants, or to ensure that no plants can be sucked in. Wear parts are excluded from the guarantee. Appropriate cleaning and care reduce wear and tear on the device.
REPAIR
If the cables or the housing are damaged, the motor cannot be repaired and must therefore be replaced. The running unit (rotor + impeller) is available separately as a spare part.
If you have any questions or problems, please contact a qualified electrician or your specialist dealer for your own safety.
