The device does not work, what to do?

First check if the battery is discharged: charge it for 8 to 10 hours. Make sure the mains socket is powered (check the fuse). If the problem persists, contact a qualified service professional.

How to charge the battery correctly?

Insert the charger tip into the device and plug it into an outlet. The indicator light turns on. For first use, charge for 8 to 10 hours. Do not exceed 20 hours of charging. Avoid charging if ambient temperature is below 0°C or above 40°C.

Can I use the device on wet surfaces?

No, never use the device on wet surfaces or to sweep liquids. This could damage the device and be dangerous.

How to clean the dust container?

Remove the dust container by sliding it outward. Empty it and, if necessary, clean it with warm soapy water. Dry it thoroughly before putting it back.

The rotating brush no longer spins, why?

Hair or debris may be blocking the brush. Turn the device over, remove the transparent protective cover by pressing on both sides, then remove the residues. Replace the cover until it clicks.

The device is losing dust, what to do?

Check that the dust container is not full: empty it if necessary. Also make sure the device is flat (not tilted) during use.

How to assemble the broom?

Place the broom body on the floor. Insert the connector tip into the designated hole. Assemble the three handle tubes and attach the handle at the end. Insert the other end of the handle into the connector.

Can I use another charger?

If you need to replace the charger, you must use a charger with the following specifications: output voltage 9Vdc and current 300mA. Otherwise, contact customer service.

How to remove the battery at end of life?

Unplug the device, turn it over and unscrew the battery compartment cover (marked with a cross). Pry it open, cut the wires and remove the battery. Dispose of it at a collection point for recycling.

Is the device suitable for people with reduced mobility?

Caution: the device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical or mental capacities without supervision. Supervise children to prevent them from playing with it.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance. Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the charger before using the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. If it is damaged it should be repaired by a competent qualified electrician () . If the adapter's cord is damaged, it cannot be repaired but the complete adapter must be replaced by an identical adapter or an adapter similar to the original one and showing the same characteristics. This replacement should be done by a competent qualified electrician () .
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Make sure the switch is in off position before charging the appliance's battery.
Never use the appliance to vacuum matches, pointed objects, cigarettes, butts or other glowing things. Do not use it on wet surfaces or surfaces covered with cement or other substances which are too fine or even toxic when inhaled. Never vacuum any kind of liquid with this appliance, certainly not flammable liquids.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
Do not touch the rotating brush when the appliance is in use.
When you throw the appliance away, make sure to dispose of the battery in an environmental friendly way.

CAUTION: NEVER TOUCH THE LIQUID THAT MIGHT COME OUT OF A DAMAGED BATTERY.

Competent qualified electrician : after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

Your appliance is delivered with an adaptor, and if you have to replace it, we advise you to call in for the nearest customer service or, in case of emergency, to pay attention to the following characteristics:

CHARGING PROCESS

Do not charge your appliance if the room temperature is below 0^ or above 40^ . Never charge your appliance more than 20 hours.

We advise you to charge your appliance fully (about 8 to 10 hours) before the first use and to let it discharge itself regularly afterwards in order to increase the battery's lifespan. When you do not use the appliance for a long time, it is perfectly normal that the battery discharges itself. Insert the adapter's end into the unit, then plug into an electrical outlet. The charging indicator on top of the appliance illuminates.

If you use another adapter than the one supplied, make sure it possesses the same characteristics as mentioned above.

ASSEMBLY

• Put the main body of the sweeper on the floor.
• Insert the connection nozzle in the opening foreseen for that purpose on the body of the appliance (Fig. 1, p. 4).
• Assemble the tubes and attach the handle to the upper end of the tubes (Fig. 2, p. 4).
• Insert the other lower end of the tubes to the connection nozzle.
  The appliance is now ready for use.

USE OF THE APPLIANCE

Make sure the dust collector is installed properly in the main body before switching on the appliance.
- Check the dust level of the dust collector before each use and if it is full, empty it before use.
- Hold the appliance by the handle and switch it on by pressing the on/off switch with your hand of foot (Fig. 3, p. 4).
- To switch off the appliance, press the switch again.
Thanks to the 360^ swivel system of the connection nozzle of the appliance, you can reach even the places that are hard to reach.
If you want to, you can also use only one part of the tube, as the handle can be attached to any of the tube parts. This will allow cleaning places that are hard to reach (e.g. under a bed).

MAINTENANCE

Put the switch in OFF position and unplug the appliance from its charger before starting any maintenance operation.

Dust collector

• Remove the dust collector by sliding it out of the appliance (Fig. 4, p 4).
• Empty it.
  If necessary, clean it with lukewarm water. Dry it thoroughly.

Rotating brush

• Turn the appliance upside down and remove the transparent plastic protective cover of the brush by pressing simultaneously at both sides of the cover (Fig. 5, p. 4).
• Remove the hair and other dust clogged onto the brush.
• Put the protective cover back on the brush. To do so, make sure the pins on the main body fit into the holes of the cover and press until you hear a clicking sound.

BEFORE DISPOSAL

The sweeper is equipped with a Ni-Cd battery.

When you decide to dispose of the appliance, remove the battery first in order to protect the environment. To do so, first unplug the appliance. Then turn it upside down and unscrew the cover of the battery compartment (indicated with a cross on Fig. 6, p.4). Open the cover with a screwdriver acting as a lever. Cut the threads that connect the battery to the appliance and remove the battery. Dispose of the battery in an environmental friendly way by bringing it to a container foreseen for this purpose (please contact the local authority) or by bringing it back to the vendor. Never throw it away with the regular household refuse.
